Welcome!

I would like to welcome help x travellers.

My home is in the estate of Bauple Forest, 5klm from Bauple Township, backing on to a nature reserve that extends to the Great Sandy Straits, Fraser Island and down as far as Tin Can Bay and Rainbow beach. Wild Brumbies roam this peaceful forest reserve along with many other wildlife species.
The forest tracks are very user friendly, and a great place to walk, mountain bike or drive.

My home is 5 years old, clean, tidy, and everyone finds it a relaxing place to visit. It has air conditioning and has an outside winter hot tub or summer cool tub. A spare room is available which is lockable and private. Bathroom and toilet is shared. or if you have a van there is plenty of room to park also maintained lawn space for pitching a tent if desired. There is fresh crystal clean rain water and spring water available in abundance for washing, showering, or cooling off on the hot days.

IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE

MUST be prepared to stay minimum of 2 weeks.

Some farm experience would be preferable. fence repare and replacement and shed roof replacement is the primary concern at the moment. The damage is as a result of a severe wind storm on Valentines Day. As this is a fairly labour intensive operation, it would be good if we could get some help.

Our normal activities are thrice weekly milking of the Beef/Dairy herd with calves free ranging with their mothers . We also have a herd of pigs which live a semi free range lifestyle. The property has been in the family for over 100 years. Our animals are all very used to new people around them so it is a great property for those wishing to experience hands on with animals for the first time or for those with experience with a wide variety of animals. One creek traverses the property, while the other one is on the boundary. Both are suitable to swim and fish in. The boundary creek is also great for bird watchi... more inside

Hi, we have a house in Machans beach just 10 mins out of town from Cairns. But feels so far away. its a beach village where you can ride your bike around the coast and bushlands. its in a delta with the rivers either side and just the start to all the northern beaches up here in the tropics. Iím looking for a carpenter and someone who has experience with houses and boats and houseboats. A handy person or two with carpentry to help rebuild and renovate. we love to share meals and experience other culture foods. if you like growing food and have a love for tropical fruits. we would love to have people stay who love cooking and going on adventures here in the tropics. We live one street from The beach. If you are good with little children and like small Moodle dogs. We have a comfortable room and we would like to hear from you.

Hi. We have a small family farm growing Passionfruit and sugarcane. Always in need of any kind of help in exchange for food and board.
We have hosted 100+ backpackers over the last 10 years, either wwoofing or paid work when available.
Situated along the Burdekin River about 68km from Ayr.
Watch the cane fires in the second half of the year or free swimming in the local pool in summer. harvest your own honey and maybe get a chance to go reef fishing if the weather allows.
Friendly local pub.

******Currently have one day per week paid work with rest of week exchange for board. Increasing days of paid work as production increases over coming weeks*****
