We are building an Eco Retreat on three quarters of an acre in Sailors Falls, about 6km from Daylesford in Victoria's Central Highlands.
We are surrounded by the neighbouring property, which in turn is surrounded by the beautiful Hepburn Regional Park.
We are renovating the existing home to a north-facing, sustainable, solar-passive home, embracing some of the Earthship and Living Architecture principles, and following permaculture and other organic gardening principles.

At the moment there is myself and my partner Natalie and 6 year old son, Tyber, half of the time, as well as regular visitors and travelers.
My passions include sustainability, healthy eating, yoga and meditation, art and music.
There are regular early morning community yoga classes held in the house.

Work includes:

* maintenance and planting of organic vegetable beds,
* weeding,
* landscaping,
* various building projects,
* mowing,
* and website help (if skilled).

We are a small farm in South Gippsland 3 hours East of Melbourne, within easy reach of Wilsons Prom, Tarra Bulga NP historic Port Albert and 90 mile beach, therefore your own transport is an advantage .
Public transport via v/line bus is available to the local town of Alberton 2km away and I am happy to pick you up from here.
Ross is away a lot for work and therefore you may not get to see him and my son Tom also lives here until he marries in a months time when he will move away (although I hope he and his wife Sarah will be around a lot), so mostly there will be me Di and the dogs (at least two and maybe more depending on who I am looking after.
As a small property there is mostly not a lot of farm work to be carried out. But my garden is large both vegetables and flowers and I enjoy spending my time there, this is where I need help and also in the house as I would rather be doing other things.
I need people who are flexible and willing to work independently, you will be w... more inside

I live in Mt Martha, situated only 1 hours drive from Melbourne CBD and on the fabulous Mornington Peninsula, home to beautiful beaches, award winning boutique wineries, and Cape Schanck and Point Nepean National Parks. I overlook The Briars Heritage Park and wildlife sanctuary, home to resident koalas and kangaroos.
I have an old horse, 2 cats and and beautiful native birds in abundance.
in particular I am looking for help with painting and gardening. Regular jobs are feeding the animals, gardening - planting, weeding, mulching, fertilizing, mowing, and general housekeeping.
I would love to have you stay, preferably for about a week or two. Fast wireless internet access. I look forward to sharing with you this beautiful part of Victoria. Cheers.
PS Trains run from Flinders Street Station to Frankston every 20 minutes.

We are an equine veterinary business operating from a 45 hectare farm in North East Victoria. We perform lots of equine reproductive work and during our peak season (Sept to January) have many client horses agisted here on farm for reproductive work.

We are looking for a helper to stay with us for the peak season and help out around the house and on the farm. Duties will include helping our resident veterinarian foaling down mares and caring for patients after hours during the week. Weekend duties will involve horse husbandry (eg feeding and care) and assisting the veterinarian during the day. Consequently you must have extensive experience handling horses.

Help is in exchange for full board and keep plus payment for the weekend work. We will make sure that you get time off during the week and would encourage you to spend your spare time looking around the north east and enjoying our lovely part of Australia. A car is available for your use (you pay the fuel).

This is a mixed use farm with Horses, cattle and cropping. The property is surrounded by 6km of Goulburn River frontage in the renowned Nagambie Lakes Wine Region. To get a good look at the property please look at the photo's and drone video on the website.

We have plenty of work at the farm to choose from that include painting horse fences and sheds, tractor work, lawn mowing, building a pontoon, building eco-pods for accommodation, working in the vegetable garden, cattle and sheep work and general work around the house.

We have a large 7 bedroom home on the farm which you are welcome to use and a small one bedroom cottage that sits in the orange grove.

The farm is 8kms from the nearest town so it would be better to have a car. We may be able to lend you one. Melbourne is the nearest big city approximately 1hr and 45 mins by car, bus or train.

I hope you will join us!

Regards
Tim
