We run a free-range, EU accredited beef cattle stud based in the beautiful North Burnett, around half an hour`s drive from Monto. We run our cattle in granite and scrub country, and muster on horses. We have travelled through the USA and Europe and enjoy meeting people from all nationalities.

We offer a couple of accommodation options set near a beautiful river (good fishing and yabbying) - accommodation will be either a large house (a few km from main house), or cottage near the main house. Internet is available (with limited download), mobile phone service is not available near houses but landline phones are provided.

We would be seeking people to assist with maintenance of buildings and fences, housework, cleaning and gardening in exchange for board and food. Work would be 4 hours/day or day on/day off. If you wish to do some horse work/riding, we can accommodate that also.

We are happy to negotiate $ after a month, should applicants wish to stay more lon... more inside

Hi There,

Are you a relaxed traveller that loves animals and is looking for a place to live walking distance to the beach? If so I could be the right host for you.

I live at Mermaid Beach and I have two little dogs (Rocco and Max), I work long hours and I`m always couple of nights a week do
I`m looking for somebody to help out with the house and to look after the dogs during the day and when I`m away.

It doesn`t have to be all day but between 2-4 hours per day leaving your nights and weekends free.

I do ask for a minimum stay of 4 weeks.

You will be sharing a 2-bed unit with me and my partner but you will have your own room.

If you would like more details please get in touch.

Cheers,
Carlee

I am not on a farm, it is a residential block in Ipswich.
Looking for a plumber. Also
looking for helpers to do cleaning in and around the house, such as vacuuming, mopping, raking leaves, sugar soaping a ceiling, cleaning my mini bus, making up beds, mowing, whippersnippering etc...
Room and simple breakfast (toast or cereal-make it yourself) included. There are other small house maintenance jobs that would suit someone with handyman skills.I have some plumbing work that needs attention also if there are any plumbers out there looking.
Ipswich is a lovely place in itself and is also about an hours drive to Brisbane, about an hour to the Gold Coast, about an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast or about an hour to the mountains in Toowoomba. Many visitors to Australia assume it will be hot here and in summer it is, in winter the temperature can be very cold. Make sure to pack some warm winter clothing if travelling in the winter months.
The room is small with a bun... more inside

Our 10 acre property is 1.5 hours from Cairns or 19 km inland from Innisfail. Our commercial crop is rambutan and we have over 40 varieties of fruit trees.
Our land slopes down to a lovely creek and the area is always green and lush. We are an easy going couple in our 60s and would like help with mowing, weeding, mulching, pruning, veggie gardening and general farm help.

Only have one single bed but a mattress can be placed on floor for two people. We are located 30 minutes from Cairns- buses run regularly at about $5 fee to get into city. It would be more convenient if you had your own car. HelpXers would be required to do some gardening and cleaning. Food is provided however HelpXers may need to cook. We have a friendly dog and also a friendly cat.
Helpers are not to use drugs and to be non-smokers.

I live on a 10 acre property about 8kms from Hervey Bay.
Requiring the help of one or more persons to assist in general tidying of the property such as gardening, weeding, mowing, collecting fallen wood, mulching etc. Whatever needs attention,
I envisage working 2-3 hours a day in exchange for accommodation & simple meals,
You may want to do the tourist thing while you are in the area so I am open to negotiation as to the hours of work & time frames.
You will need to be enthusiastic and a non smoker. This may suit a person with their own travelling accommodation such as a caravan or there is a room available with a double bed or another with a single bed.
You would be more self sufficient if you have your own transport however a drop off in town could be arranged.
