Would you like to stay in your own secluded retreat on the beautiful south coast? Come stay with us!

We live on a beautiful bush property in a spectacular coastal area that is half way between the towns of Albany and Denmark. We are a family of four and run our little property as naturally as we can. We have a lovely large garden and vegetable patch and many fruit trees that feed our family.

We would love some energetic travellers who enjoy garden/outdoor work to help maintain the property or perhaps you have another skill you could offer? In return we provide yummy vegetarian food and a gorgeous renovated railway carriage to stay in (about 15 m from the main house). You have your own little kitchen and bathroom and little deck space (see pics).

You will be welcome to use our bikes and can ride to the beach from our property (20 mins) and there are bushwalks locally. We are in the country so it's great for people who enjoy nature and the beach. You will need a car if you ... more inside

Update 22/8/16
The new honey plant is installed and ready to go. All we need now is some honey to extract!
The horrid conditions of last summer were followed by an unusually cold and wet winter so our bees have had to contend with a torrid time for the last 10 months, and are understandably not in top condition. Much TLC needed now to get them back into producing surplus honey for us!
Looks like queen rearing will be the order of the day for the next 2 months at least.

As always willing helpers with all round experience, a sense of humour, and lots of patience are very welcome, especially those with some experience working with bees.

-------------------------------------------------
We are commercial beekeepers, producing honey, honeycomb and pollen for local markets and also to supply our own retail outlet. In addition we are currently transitioning to supply our products directly into selected export markets. We have up to 300 hives and 500 nucleus hives on the propert... more inside

Hello, I'm looking for up to 5 fit, healthy males to help with grounds maintenance on our beautiful heritage property. We are in the process of redeveloping an old agricultural school into a multi-function centre and currently require workers for grounds maintenance. Duties will include lawn mowing, whipper snipping, tree planting, weeding, cleaning and painting.

In exchange for work we offer accommodation and some meals. Kitchen facilities are available.

Second year visa eligible with payslips provided.

The school is located in spacious grounds with sporting facilities and local wildlife. Plenty of time off to explore the local area.

Very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere with a good group already here.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I have recently bought a new house on nearly one acre which needs lots of gardening work done outside. I'm looking for someone who loves to garden, including all the very hard work of digging, planting, building, etc. the house is lovely with beautiful views and lots of gorgeous places to walk, especially as we head into spring. I will need someone who is prepared to work a few hours a day but am keen to show them our lovely part of the world too. Meals can be supplied and a room provided.

We are near to a busy Regional Wheatbelt town approx 2 hours from Perth. The house is a family home with 2 spare rooms with double beds and a shared bathroom. We offer food & accommodation in an informal household in return for about 4/5 hours work a day. Some days may be busier than others depending on what is happening but we are flexible. There is always plenty of routine work with our stud, including general feeding, cleaning stables ,rugging and unrugging, leading young horses in and out of stabling, training etc. I would prefer a person with horse experience or confidant around horses (or if staying as a pair would like at least one person to be ). There are riding opportunities for capable riders as there are mainly only youngsters to ride. We breed and show Welsh cobs so an interest in that would be a plus. We are expecting3foals between Sept and Nov so that is a very busy and rewarding time of the year.
With a lot of horses I tend to fall behind with my garden so would also ... more inside

Hi, we are a couple, Kate and Michael, living 100km east of Midland/Perth in "Heavenly" Beverley, accessible by car, motorbike or public transport.

Beverley is a casual, friendly community with great facilities, beautiful scenery and a growing tourism industry.

We own and run a gallery in the main street. The Gallery is situated in a hundred-year-old building which we have been restoring, mostly on our own, for the last three and a half years.

We need to undertake ongoing repairs, repairing cracks, maintenance, painting etc. Our next project is to organise and equip Michael's workshop behind the Gallery.

Our dream to complete the building's restoration and create an artists' precinct within the building has finally been realised. The East End Gallery is home to over 30 artists and more than 100 artworks.

We also have a house on the Avon River on the edge of town. There are a number of projects that need to be undertaken at our house, in the garden, the sheds and our... more inside

Help is needed to manage the vegetable garden, feed the chickens and maintain the homestead surrounds on a former sheep station in the midwest of Western Australia. At seasonal times there is paid visa work in an irrigation project with peaches, apricots, plums and other summer fruit. Good accommodation and healthy food. Your own room. Share cooking and cleaning duties. TV, landline and internet available, and travel to and from Perth is arranged. This is an opportunity for those self-assured and adventurous persons who want to get a feel for the Australian outback, watch the biggest sunsets and live a rewarding experience. It is a beautiful time of the year now. The country is green from rain and the famous Western Australian wildflowers are in magnificent bloom, with amazing masses of colour. Day temperatures are in mid 20s and nights are cool. Perfect paradise.

We are a warm and friendly family (mum, 2 kids, aged 11 and 9, and a dog) looking for help with general upkeep of home and garden. We are renovating our downstairs studio and currently have lots of painting and gardening work to do. If you have building skills, that will also be helpful.

Your exchange may involve anything from walking the dog or cooking the evening meal to pulling weeds, painting walls and making up-cycled furniture! And of course sharing stories, ideas and experiences!

We enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences. We speak French.

Our home is close to town (2km)) and a short drive to Denmark's lovely beaches. Lovely walking/cycling tracks nearby. As there is no public transport, it is preferable that you have your own vehicle.

You will have your own bright and cosy self contained unit to stay in, including kitchen, bathroom and laundry. I'm interested in exchanging accommodation for 3hours work/day and open to discuss changes afte... more inside
