we have an acre and 2 celtic sheep, 2 lambs, 5 ducks , 2 dogs and just about to collect 2 new kittens.
All our efforts now, are to finish the outside of the barn and create a garden and paddocks for the sheep.Build a small sheep shed.

We are moving to Spain in the spring of 2018. We are going to renovate an old finca and building some sleeping accommodations for guests on our land between the almond trees?. These will be eartbag buildings or/and strawbale. We will have a go with building a yurt as well. We need help with all these plans and also with building compost toilets, showers and a vegetable garden. Experience is not necessary. The first helpers will have to sleep in tents or caravan (both available)

Hello, hello, our Dear Future Helpers!. The following is a thorough description about us which we hope it will help you to take the best decision. Please, read it carefully (despite its lenght, hahaha) and hmmmm... thank you for having your news ;)))

We're a married couple, not old, not young :)), I mean, 72 and 66 years old -my husband is the oldest. I'm the youngest ;)-. We're living in an amazing Spanish site, in Las Alpujarras de Granada (Andalusia).
My husband and I are living most of the year in a woooonderful semi-isolated place, in the middle of the mountain, but not an ordinary mountain... nooo. It's a very special mountain. To the South, it faces the Mediterranean sea; to the North, a higher mountain (South of Sierra Nevada); several little white villages... some valleys... what else can I say?. Oh, yes... 15 minutes walk from a famous buddhist center (O'Sel Lin) and close to the National Park of Sierra Nevada. It's a marvellous mountain and our house is there, 1,540 ... more inside

Our farm is a organic farm that is formed by Cristina y Juan and their sons Alejandra, David y Angela. We grow a lot of kind of vegetables in a 1 acre with 2 polytunnels also there are some fruit trees. We have some animals as rabbits, hens, sheep, a horse, two ducks, cats and a dog but they don't give a lot work. The farm is located in a quiet place near the wood but Isolated. We are 15min driving to the nearest town (villaviciosa). But we have to go there nearly every day, Villavicosa has a bus station with good connections to Gijon and others towns.
The accommodation would been in a different house to a 100m of the family's house. There are a kitchen, bathroom and one room with a double bed, the bad thing there isn't heating. In this nice cottage you will be expected to prepare and cook most of your meals with food we provide. We are sorry but we don't like to cook a lot.
Voluntaries are asked to work 5 hours a day, 5 days a week and the main condition is to help my son to im... more inside

We are three friends Valencia 5 years ago acquired a farm in the countryside in order to develop an agro-ecological and sustainable project, based on the principles of permaculture. During this time we have devoted ourselves to rehabilitate and make habitable part of the house, build a raft of irrigation, restore the abandoned olive grove, orchard, planting trees, and launch the henhouse.

In the region of the Canal Navarres (Valencia), it is the "La Toledana" consists of an area of 4 hectares of organic olive groves, and other 2 ha of arable land in different mountain terraces. "La Toledana" is located 16km from the nearest town Navarrés and is nestled surrounded entirely of public forest and fields scattered crops: olive, carob and almond trees mainly.

The nearest inhabited house is about 3km, so the feeling of peace is permanent. The property has an old stone house under restoration, and irrigation pond pool that also serves in the long summer months. Organic garden, chick... more inside
