Females only thanks !!

We have just moved house to a beautiful new place -- it has a lot more land and gardens galore !! We are ideally looking for a female volunteer or two to help with transforming our many terraced gardens into useful, productive gardens that we can eat from... themed.. like a salad garden, a herb garden, etc.

We are ideally looking for someone who loves gardening and or who understands what makes a successful garden. I am interested in permaculture and learning more about the different ways of improving planting and harvesting. We do not use any pesticides or chemicals in the garden.

We have chickens and a fish pond.

Our home is in West Auckland -- 6 mins walk to nearest bus stop and 4 mins walk to train station that takes you straight into the CBD (40 mins by train). 3 mins train ride to nearest mall/supermarket/library/movies/town area.

We are very interested in traditional crafts. We love knitting, sewing and keen to try spinning. We als... more inside

We are 3 guys in our 20's. We work hard but like to socialise and not spend our spare time with general house work! The house is located on the North Shore close to Takapuna or 20 minutes from city on the bus.

Our cleaner has just finished so thought that we could open our house to travellers in exchange for house work duties. These will exclude bathroom cleaning once or twice a week, vacuuming, sweeping the kitchen, and dishes daily. We do not expect it to exceed and hour per day. Food and cooking for yourself is your own responsibility but are welcome to use our facilities.

We can provide everything and a fun environment to stay however please understand we can be busy and also tired so not always in a position for entertaining.

The ideal person would be a young friendly traveller for medium term days. A minimum of one week and review after that. Intermediate English is required.

Welcome to our lifestyler. Small but perfectly formed. We run a couple of businesses from here, and grow as much organic food as we can. We have a few animals including a couple of sheep to keep the grass down and provide manure, and chickens for eggs and manure. Guests stay in our home with us, so being sociable is essential.
We are currently doing some work on our house, so looking for 1 or 2 people to work on paint stripping a couple of windows.

I am a mother of two rambunctious little girls age 20 months and three-and-a-half. My husband is away from June 26-July 14 and I would love to offer accommodation in Auckland in exchange for help with the children in the late afternoon/early evening, some babysitting at night once they're asleep and some assistance in the early mornings with breakfast and tidying up the dishes after breakfast and folding laundry (or entertaining the girls while I tidy up). We live in a large house with a comfortable spare room. You would have the days free to explore the city.

My partner and I just got ourselves a very nice house that has been locked in the 1960's as well as a massive garden that has not been attended to for the last 4 years. Obviously, we need help to try and develop an actual garden (vegetable and medicinal plants) as well as an energy efficient house (insulated etc).

Tasks will be as varied as garden maintenance, setting up of a hen house or removal of flowery wall paper.

Our house is located less than 10min of a train station to allow you to visit Auckland for instance or 20min by car from the Waitakere.
