This is a mixed use farm with Horses, cattle and cropping. The property is surrounded by 6km of Goulburn River frontage in the renowned Nagambie Lakes Wine Region. To get a good look at the property please look at the photo's and drone video on the website.

We have plenty of work at the farm to choose from that include painting horse fences and sheds, tractor work, lawn mowing, building a pontoon, building eco-pods for accommodation, working in the vegetable garden, cattle and sheep work and general work around the house.

We have a large 7 bedroom home on the farm which you are welcome to use and a small one bedroom cottage that sits in the orange grove.

The farm is 8kms from the nearest town so it would be better to have a car. We may be able to lend you one. Melbourne is the nearest big city approximately 1hr and 45 mins by car, bus or train.

I hope you will join us!

Regards
Tim

Hi We are Josh and Tracy.

We have a property with our home and a startup timber milling and furniture making business out of our shed, on the outskirts of Daylesford on 8.5 acres next to Mount Franklin.

We source and slab timber, which is dried and then either on-sold or turned into furniture or benchtops.

This is a great opportunity for people interested in timber and the Australian bush around our area.

We offer accommodation in our yurt or caravan in exchange for help around the property.

For between 2 - 3 hours per day of your time you will have accommodation, lodgings and one meal per day. There are shared bathroom facilities. We also have a camping area available.

The types of work can include:
- fire wood cutting / stacking
- helping Josh in the workshop
- general yard duties

The property is situated 11 kms from Daylesford on the edge of the Central Gold Fields track. You would need your own transport.

We have a dog and two cats along wit... more inside

We have a beautiful bush block full of native and rare plants. We also have many vegetable plots.

We are looking for people keen to help managing the bush block doing activities such as:

-Fencing rare plants to protect from kangaroos and foxes.

- Weeding the bush block to help out native plants by reducing competition

- Gardening in our vegetable plots.

Me and my partner are environmentalists who have many skills in ecology, permaculture, biology and animal/plant relationships.

I am an ecologist and Fi has a certificate in permaculture.

We hope to teach people about the beauty of permaculture, protecting forest biodiversity and eat good food from the garden together.

We have a small family hobby farm in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, an hour away from Melbourne.

We need a bit of help with general farm work such as pruning trees, picking fruit and nuts, netting, preparing garden beds, weeding, picking up sticks, splitting firewood, mowing and general maintenance and things like helping to clear out sheds etc

We have 2 dogs, a cat and some chickens living with us +3 horses (but they usually live somewhere else) so it would be great if you like animals.

We would love it if someone is willing to cook sometimes as we would love to try some interesting new food!
We mostly eat vegetarian (but still sometimes have meat) and try to eat as much from our garden as possible.

We are located near public transport with easy access to the city (1 hour by train +a 15 minute bus or drive) We also have a few old bikes available to use.
We are also very close to lovely national parks with great trails through native forest and wildlife - birds, w... more inside

Hello, I am looking for a couple or female/s to paint my house, undetake some carpentry and gardening work. My daughter, aged 18,, and I live in a fairly quiet area about an hour away from Melbourne city. My sons aged 22, and 20, live close by. There is often work nearby on one of the many plant nurseries in Monbulk. I live walking distance to public transport. Ther is the choice of one room with a single bed, and one with a queen size bed. Shared bathroom.
I've had one French girl stay for
three months, in 2016, and enjoyed it so much I thought why not do it again!!! She also did a lot of painting which made me very happy!
