Hi!

We have a 25 bed hostel in the beautiful area of west cork. We cater to tourists from Ireland and all over the world.

We are looking for a couple of people to help us get ready before we open, and after too!

We would provide board for helpers in exchange for helping us do things like paint the walls etc for about 4 hours a day, 4 days a week.

It's a beautiful area with lots to do. Whether you enjoy hiking mountains, taking boat trips around the harbour or simply listening to Irish music while drinking guinness in the local pubs, there is something for everyone here.

Minimum Stay 3 weeks

Thanks for reading and we hope to see some of you soon!

We have a small farm and small veg garden and we are building/renovating old stone houses into guests accommodation. I also need help to build pillars, walls, steps, strimming, raking, cooking, cleaning, plastering. If there are any carpenters/builders wanting to help on this site We'd really appreciate it. The accommodation is basic house share with the family. I do hope you would enjoy a multicultural mix and it's more like a worthwhile work and cultural experience.

We like fun, hardworking, interesting people who like to make the most of each of their experiences and their lives. You can learn lots here and we will teach you lots from building to farming.

Hope to host you,

Sheila

My partner & I moved in August 2012 & have been working hard at setting this place up as a self-sufficient organically run smallholding. We are located in the beautiful valley of Glenasmole on the foothills of the Dublin Mountains.

The holding is made up of 8.5 acres which is set out into several paddocks, there are also stables & plenty of sheds. The sand arena has become our veg garden & it is laid out in some raised beds & a polytunnel, with loads more to make.

We also now have another 13 acres rented from a neighbor.

We have had volunteers from September to December in 2012 and this was our first ... more inside
