We are a north facing farmlet 5k south of Australia's most southerly village. Extensive gardens with fruit trees, veggies and nuts and olives plus bee hives, sheep, alpacas and sometimes goats means there is always plenty to do.
Helpers share our home and meals. We have fun and enjoy sharing our lifestyle with people from other cultures and places.
We's been married for 22 years and love our life in Apollo Bay. Denise is a Doctor and I do voices work for radio, TV and film.
We are committed to eating well and love to share recipes. Good cooks are especially welcome.

Sorry, we are taking a break from hosting just now. At other times, we are looking for a fe/male helper (I can't host couples, sorry).

We need help with cleaning and marketing a holiday accommodation property in Gippsland.

Regular posting -

In general we are looking for help:
3-4 hours a day (focused working) - timing is flexible but should not be disruptive - and some basic help on weekends - 2 hour Saturdays.
Tasks include thorough cleaning, help with our businesses (marketing, etc)...

I am on a special diet to help manage my Crohn's disease. I eat organic food (chemical free - including meat) and use organic products.

You will have use of a single futon bed. The house is light and airy with wooden boards...in an eco-village. You will need to supply your own food.

I grew up in Canada but have lived and traveled in Australia for 20+ years now.

I welcome your emails and please ask any questions you may have.

I live in an inner suburb of Melbourne - ... more inside

Hi my name is Jacinta :) I am a mum to six amazing people, 27,24,20,17 and 9yr old twin boys. The four older ones are on their journeys travelling, working and pursuing their dreams. We lived in Adelaide for 6.5 years and had many helpers stay with us we really loved the experiences. We had quite a small house in Adelaide but still managed to sometimes put 4 people up at one time, we have now moved to Ballarat Victoria and have a very big house with heaps of room, we could even have people pitch tents in our amazing yard. Ballarat is a gorgeous town with so much culture and history, it is only a train ride to Melbourne which takes an hour or so but its also very close to Geelong which has awesome beaches. We have wi-fi, a bus stop out the front of our house and lots of shopping centres etc very close. Ballarat has so many gorgeous little towns surrounding it so there is lots of markets and heaps to do. I only ask for help with some domestic and yard work and if you can cook thats a bo... more inside

Hi There! We are a family of four including two university aged children. We live in a very pretty part of North East Victoria, not far from the main Melbourne to Sydney road and rail line. We live about 15 mins by car from Wangaratta, so your own transport would give you independence. We are, however always happy to give help exchangers lifts into town as we go in every week day and often on weekends too. We are on a small cattle farm on the King River living in an interesting house incorporating many recycled and creative elements. We are in the heart of the gourmet food region, near lots of vineyards and close to mountains with skiing a feature in Winter. There are many cycling trails nearby and easy access to the great outdoors for hiking and camping. Looking for helpers who would be willing to work usually in exchange for accommodation only, in a fully self contained, recently renovated and very cute cottage, which is also situated on our property. If you love cooking , we are ... more inside
