Hi,
We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children (aged 5, 7, 9 and 11 years old).
I also have a small seasonal flower farm on leased land across the road from our house. At the moment I need help getting the flower farm tidy, and ready for spring. This means jobs like mulching the dahlia beds, mowing, weeding, seed sowing etc.
Other jobs if its too wet would be helping as needed with family life. We are not slave drivers but in return for all your meals, accommodation, wifi etc we would want 4 hours of work.
We have a large spare room for our helpx which would suit an individual or couple.
We enjoy meeting new people and think it is great for our children to interact with people from all cultures.
We are on the very edge of Hamilton but still walking distance to shops. We are close to the famous Hamilton Gardens and central for day trips to Hobbiton, Raglan etc.
We would love to hear from you

We are a married couple who live a quite lifestyle and are busy with our working life`s. The husband is a keen hunter in the weekends and as such we have 2 dogs for this activity. Our town is situated in the South Waikato very central, 45 minutes to Rotorua 1 hour to Taupo 1 hour to Hamilton (approximate times). We are located approximately 1km off SH1. Own transport would be advantageous however intercity buses do stop in Tokoroa on each day of the week. If coming via public transport we can collect you from the bus stop if it is at the weekend.

We are looking for someone to help us out with catching up on yard work. Involved will be some tree trimming, weeding of gardens, possible painting and lawn mowing approximately 2 to 3 days worth of help. In return we are offering warm and safe accommodation and meals in our family home. Your own room provided with bed and all bedding. Suitable for 1 worker. All we ask is respect our home and no drugs or alcohol.

** We would love to find somebody to help us in the next few weeks - especially with the garden or woodwork. Get in touch if you are free! **

We are a young family of three (30, 31 and 1yr old) that live on a small lifestyle block in Te Pahu about 20/25 minutes drive west from the centre of Hamilton. We have a few paddocks, the property is scattered with fruit trees (avocado, lemon, mandarin, feijoa, tangelo, apple, plum, peach, passionfruit and nectarine!) and 2 calves. We also have a few raised beds with lots of veggies growing.

Originally from the UK, we both speak English and my wife speaks a little French. The house is a three bedroom family home with your own double bedroom. We of course supply fresh bedding, linen and internet. There is a shared family bathroom.

We enjoy improving the property and could do with help with a number of jobs like painting, fence maintenance, livestock help, gardening, fruit picking, cleaning inside and out, finding uses fo... more inside
