Hi, my name is Jeroen. I own a small property on the hills above Nelson, with beautiful views of the mountains and haven, and 15 minutes walk to the city centre or 30 mins to the beach. I am working on terracing the land, planting fruit trees, berry bushes, herbs, vegetable and native trees. I'm aiming to create a sustainable permaculture way of life close to the city. It's still early days and there is lots to do.

The house has all day sun, and a deck and outdoor seating. The garden is being developed. Three of us live here, myself, zac, simon and Lou. We're in our 20's and 30's, friendly, and open minded, love the outdoors, meeting people from different countries, sharing music, good healthy food and a few beers or wines. Zac and I work full time in environmental conservation. We enjoy hiking, mountain biking, surfing, guitar, rock climbing and swimming on our time off. You're welcome to join us on your time off if it works out! We also have a very snuggly cat.

have a small lifestyle property in valley near Nelson Lakes National Park. Centrally located to Blenheim, Nelson, Motueka, Westport. Property surrounded by farms but other than 2 cats no other animals on my property. I am looking for someone or a couple to help me in my garden with digging, weeding and if weather is okay to do some painting.

Help required mid Sept to early October only as helpXer.

I work in tourism and love to help people experience the real NZ! Please email me if you are interested in either period.
Internet is available here however use is limited as it is via Satellite. No mobile phone reception on the property. It is useful to have a car if you want to get out and about as the property is 15kms from the village of St Arnaud which is the gateway to the Nelson Lakes.
(If you don`t have a car I am happy to pick you up on arrival. Intercity bus Nelson-West Coast stops at Kawatiri Junction just 10kms from the house.)

We are urgently looking for someone motivated to help us transform our garden into an even more beautiful space! Does this sound like you?

We are a small family of three (our daughter will turn 2 in July) living in beautiful Nelson about 5kms from the city center.
We have a fairly large section where we grow our own veggies, have some fruit trees and get eggs from our chickens.
We would love to get some help from you in the garden (weeding, pruning the trees and hedge, chopping firewood etc) and possibly some help in and around our house (cleaning, renovating).

You will have your own bedroom and share the bathroom, kitchen and living area with us.
We ask you to work 4 hours each day for accommodation and meals (breakfast and dinner).
We would like someone who likes to be around young children and is a non-smoker.

We have an awesome new home, about 10ks from the township of Richmond.Even better, we are about 5 minutes from the cool town of Mapua (arty, funky with great restaurants /bars) and awesome beaches. Abel Tasman is about a 30 minute drive away

If youré cool with kids and pets, have good driving skills (with NZ/ International Licence), then this might work for you!
Our home is new, with our own little forest and stunning ocean/rural views. You will have a private room (one dble bed), with "own" bathroom, and seperate access

So what sort of person would we like? Our main wish list is someone to help with around the house and yard.
Also with school runs for our 10 y/o son. Finn is a blast (full of energy) and loves all sports (esp football, so someone to kick a ball around would be great). Its also a great chance for him to learn about other cultures and places in the world.. And if you're keen to help with dinner, we're not going to argue!!

Currently looking for anyone From October 2018

Hi there, we are a family of four living in the lovely Aniseed Valley on a four hectare lifestyle block. Very conveniently located in the middle of the Nelson area. Richmond is a 10minute drive away and Nelson and Motueka 30minutes. The Roding River is a short walk away with good swimming holes. We have beautiful mountain views and lots of land to relax on. We have sheep, pigs, chickens one dog and one cat.
Accommodation is in our separate sleepout that has its own bathroom and kitchen for you to prepare your breakfast and lunch. It has a double bed and a single bed and gas hot water shower. We can offer 1 meal of dinner each day.

We would be looking for 18 hours work per person per week in exchange for accommodation. The days and times of work are completely flexible.

We need help with gardening and many other jobs around the property.

Other pets you will meet are Heidi and Mette our goats, 5 Alpacas, Rosie, Diesel, Tara and Rumey our KuneKune pigs, Chinchillas, chickens and Harry our miniature Horse.
All you need is a love for animals and an easy going manner to fit in with our mini zoo.
If you enjoy cooking it will be an added bonus.

On my property, and in our family, there is always help needed, simple garden work, simple household duties and being with my two lovely children(though they are now leading their own lives more or less), and talking is important too as well as having fun.
Have 2 pet sheep, 2 pet rabbits and a puppy. Walking the dog, Ollie a border collie/huntaway cross, is one of the tasks.

I really appreciate having helpers who are willing to contribute to the life here. Helpers who are out-going, and who want to learn about life on an organic property. I am looking for mature responsible helpers who are not overly reliant on internet/facebook connection. I would rather have people who would like to converse and relate face to face.

We are Non-smokers, No TV, eat mostly vegetarian and organic, we speak German and English

Please no smokers - thanks

Look forward to welcoming willing helpers.
Cheers
Peter
