Hi potential woofers, we are on the look out for some good people to help set up for a festival. The festy is 9th till 12 the of march but we will be setting up from about 26 Feb. This position would suit fun living party animals with a sense of humor who don't mind getting their hands dirty. There will be a variety of work happening . some construction experience would be helpful but not essential

Accomodation will be in an old van or tent depending on when you turn up. Showers and swim in the river are available

The festival is called southern smoulder and is based on the burning man festival in Nevada. It will be a good time.

Looking for ward to hearing from you

We are looking for a couple of enthusiastic people who can help with a bit of a clean up around the place. I need a hand with cleaning a guest cottage, gardening, feeding and cleaning up after animals and clearing out a couple of paddocks. We are a friendly welcoming family who likes people who aren't scared to get their hands dirty, can clean up after themselves in the house and who like to help out inside as well as out. For four hours work a day you get your own room with a King size bed (or two singles) and 3 meals a day. You must be able to work without supervision, and be motivated. It's not always sunny in Hokitika so someone who is not scared to work outside if it's raining a wee bit would be helpful:-) We live 5km from town, so your own car is a MUST. What we don't want is anyone who needs mothering and motivating (sorry - I already have kids:-)). We would like friendly social people who like a bit of fun and donít just lock themselves away in their room all day and... more inside

Hi, I prefer a Vegetarian, non smoker, a lover of animals and nature.
Looking for a jack of all trades including gardening, particularly a builder.
I live off grid and very back to nature. Enjoy an evening fire bath on a beautiful piece of land with sea and mountain views. Walking distance to the river and the sea.
Prefer 30 year olds plus, i can provide certain amounts of food and accommodation for 4 hours work per day.

I feel it would be more enjoyable to have travelers from 1st December to 30th April, daylight savings offers more adventurous time and the weather should be more enjoyable during these times.

Just me my dog and a house in the heart of small country town. Alot of friendly tourists pass through here in search of adventure land.

I Would be happy to welcome anyone passing through thats in need of accommodation or a place to park a camper-van, can have access to guest bedroom and the usual facilities, refresh, recharge, relax, eat, drink, smoke, be merry, each to his or her own desire. :)

(Establishing permaculture style backyard and garden, some renovations depending where im at, and a variety of creative ideas and uses of natural resources that are on my to do list! from out door pizza ovens to driftwood picnic tables)

But we are all in such a hurry these days so I am more for boosting the experience. :) (Thats what id want)

So for any adventurers reading I have enough kayaks to plop up to 4 people in the many slow moving tidal rivers around here and spend some leisure tim... more inside

Hi there, I am a single mum with 2 lovely kids and a furbaby called Parker. My daughter is 12 and my son is 14. My dairy farm milks 500 dairy cows in the beautiful Kokatahi Valley which is 20km from Hokitika. This area has many outdoor activities to enjoy and a great social community. I can lend you my mountain bike to ride the many cycle trails if you're interested.

I'd love a female who could be home when my daughter gets home from school 3:30pm -6pm as i will be calf feeding from august on. In the spring i feed the calves twice a day so i'd appreciate a hand getting the dinner sorted and the odd load of washing folded. You are more than welcome to come onto the farm with me.

There is a large spare room for you to make your own, free wi-fi and heaps to fill in your time.

If you're interested, please send me a message.

Thanks for reading this.
