sorry we are fully booked until October. In October we are looking for very motivated helpers, especially with capabilities to ride very young horses? Helpers must be flexible also..
We are a well travelled family used to International visitors. We have a beautiful sheep and beef farm which we work full time. We have flat, rolling .and hilly country with mountain and sea views. We farm two properties and there is always plenty to do! We also have several quality horses used for smaller competitions and hunting. For a keen person there will be many opportunities to ride, if they are up to it. There is not time to teach people to ride as we are a very busy family, so please do NOT think you can learn to ride here. The riding is generally not included as `work`, rather a privilege. Riding around our beautiful hill farm is regularly available for the right riders. We take the horses to the beach sometimes also, for experienced riders which is a special spot.

We have a nice spacious new home on 2.5 acres that we have been building ourselves over the last few years. We are looking for help with childcare and general household tasks. We will provide accommodation, your own large room, wifi and a nice space to chill and watch some Netflix. Happy to negotiate how many hours etc. There is a surf beach just down the road and a bus stop into Christchurch 100 meters away. We have bikes you can use also. Lots of places to head away for day visits too. We are a family of four and a very friendly dog. We have a 2.5 year old and a very fresh little babe who is only a couple of months old.

We would be keen to hear from people with childcare experience who are looking for a slightly longer stay but will consider anything from 10days +
Considering we have young children, references are important to us.

If you are here for the ski season, happy to negotiate your days off so you can get up the mountain (1hr drive) in exchange for a few full days... more inside

We're looking for a helper(s) who would be available from 13 June or soon after.
We live on a 20 acre lifestyle block, with a few sheep and cattle, three cats, a guitar, piano and a large organic vege garden and fruit trees. Our children are grown up and only one (18)still lives at home, and travels to Chch to study. We like meeting new people and we are happy to help you practice your English :)

We have bicycles you can borrow to explore the neighbourhood or bike to the beach. The outside hot spa is marvelous on cold evenings. Accommodation is a comfortable sleepout, using the bathroom in the house and sharing meals with us.

At the moment I'd like help in the garden - the autumn always brings lots of garden tidying. Dishwashing is always appreciated, some house cleaning, and if you can cook that is even better. If you are technically savvy I have some audio cassettes I'd like transferred to digital sometime. And if you want to see animals - there is a small amount of fa... more inside

If you enjoy working with horses and an outdoor lifestyle we would like to hear from you.
My husband and I run a small horse and cattle farm, backing on to Forestry and walking tracks. 10klms from Rangiora.10 mins drive from beach.

We need helpers for general farm work- chainsaw and weed whacker experience is a bonus.

Our horses are experienced competitors in Endurance and other deciplines,so helpers must be very experienced in riding in open spaces at pace and on all terrain.

Does exploring the surrounding countryside on horse back and travelling with horses appeal?

The help we require involves day to day care of horses and riding out plus some gardening and farm work.

Accommodation is a private self contained sleepout suitable for couples, your own vehicle is essential as we are out of town.

This is our busiest time of year so if you are keen we have plenty to keep you occupied and would love to hear from you.

We are renovating our house and developing gardens and a native walkway. So along with the daily chores and animal care there is always something that needs doing.
We like helpers that are easy going, friendly and with some common sense. Some days you will be left to work independently other times you will work with us, usually about 4 -5 hours a day depending on the job. There may be times you can do a full day then have a full day to go off and explore.

I love doing all sorts of crafts, mosaics, sewing, woodwork and wearable art to name a few! Happy to do a project with you if your interested and time allows.
There is no public transport near where we live but I am happy to pick you up from Waikari or nearby. I am also in Christchurch at least once a week.

If you like watching tv or playing on a pc all day this place is not for you, we have limited internet access and NO cell phone coverage.
