It is just my husband and I- we are looking for someone or two - to do some gardening please. We can offer what meals are required - transport when possible into Queenstown - and can work around what hours/days you may be interested. There is nothing major that needs done, but I had an accident last year and have had three lots of surgery so have been unable to get out there and do it myself. Both my husband and I work fulltime (I have just gone back to work) so we really need trustworthy people. We are your average Kiwis and offer a few laughs and some crazy banter. If you are keen on DIY and want to stay a bit longer there could be some indoor painting too if its your thing. We live out beside Millbrook Gold course so have a lovely rural outlook. Feel free to ask questions - Leah

My property in on a hill in a Dunedin suburb which offers a lovely sea view. In the house are only me and my cat at the moment. By car it is about 7 minutes to the centre of town, there is also a direct bus line which doesn't take much longer. Dunedin has many beautiful beaches and surfing is popular. It is also home of albatrosses and yellow-eyes penguins. In town there are great cafes and restaurants to check out. There are also many walking/tramping tracks around town.

I can accommodate 2 people and ask for 4 hours of help a day. Times can be flexible, so that you have a chance of free days if you prefer. Help needed includes maintainance work around the house and gardening, maybe akso some painting. You get some decent home cooked meals but also have access to food to prepare yourself.

Hello!

We are looking for a helper in Queenstown from 10th of March 2020

We are a fun active family of 4 with 2 little boys aged 3 and 5. We are looking for someone energetic that is experienced with, and loves kids.

Your main role would be to help with dinner Monday - Friday, do lunch boxes for the boys and to watch the boys while we are at work along with some basic housework. We would prefer a minimum 2 week stay but preference is given for the right person that can stay longer so the boys get to know you.

Ideally we would like someone that is quite flexible as my business requires me to head out last minute where the boys would need to be cared for. I would prefer to spend as much time with my children as I can so the 'child care' is required only when I'm called out for work.

Most of my work is generally in the afternoons, Dad works 9-5 so will be home by dinner time. Weekends will be to yourself to explore and enjoy beautiful Queenstown (along with most ... more inside

Looking for helpx February, early March. Jobs are...Manual labour (you need to be strong and keen, tool skills are really helpful) for mainly outdoor jobs.
Near Wanaka my small cottage looks out over Lake Hawea with access to lake and walking tracks right here. Easy walking distance to local shop, cafe, library and pub or an 18km drive to Wanaka for more R&R.
I look for help X profiles with a photo and references.
In exchange for daily help (around 5 hours) I offer accommodation with breakfast and dinner.
Its a simple down to earth kind of set up, sharing my small cottage.
No pets, pooches, smokers or loafers here.
You are welcome.
Look forward to meeting you!

I have a cute bungalow in central Dunedin, 5 mins by car from the Octagon or a 20 min walk and on the bus route too. The house is warm and sunny with lovely views. However.....the garden is overgrown and I'm looking for help to wrestle it under control. Your room has a double bed and an ensuite is down stairs from the main living area. I have regular guests with Airbnb but would be looking for non-paying guests to help with the above work in exchange for accommodation.

Currently looking for some help weed eating, chipping and spraying around olive trees, in preparation for picking olives in May. This does involve machinery (Chippers, ride on mower etc)
We are currently in the process of building on our site so the accomodation is in Clyde central where we live, a five minute walk away.

We are a couple in our 60's 1/2 retired with a large garden with olives, saffron, 2000 flowers, vegetables and lots of grass and weeds to cut. Chris has a large workshop with some old racing cars and many things to fix so a mechanic to stay is a godsend. We also are restoring a caravan so a cabinet maker or joiner or carpenter would have lots to do. We provide you with your own part of the house with bathroom and expect you to be tidy and part of our family and cook if you like.
Photos are of our house & garden, our latest Helpers Gaspard and Anissa from France cooking crepes for us and winter at our place plus Arrowtown township from the hill above.

We live on a high country sheep & beef farm in Central Otago in a little rural area called Tarras. Our family all farm here and we have two additional workers who help us out on the farm. We have pet dogs, cat, and hens
as well as the farm animals.

Tarras is located a short drive from local towns Cromwell (20 mins) or Wanaka (30 mins) and Queenstown (1hr). It is a great spot to stop over if you are travelling between Christchurch/Mount Cook and Queenstown/Wanaka/ Fiordland.

We are looking for people who are interested in helping us out with jobs at our farm homestead. Work will vary depending on what needs done at the time and your skills. Examples are gardening, building, painting, maintenance jobs, cooking or cleaning.

You can explore the farm in your free time where you can bike, hike or swim in the river. Hours can be flexible to allow you to explore the surrounding areas as there is lots to see and do if you have a car. To get the most out of your stay we recom... more inside
