**** Updated 15 November 2019****

Looking for a new helpXer to host from 14 December!

I`m a single mum with 7 y.o. twins and I`m looking for somebody to help me around the house and yard.

We have recently moved so we need some help around the yard including assembling the trampoline and getting the existing veggie garden ready for planting.

I'd also love some help cooking - don't worry if you don't have heaps of experience, I have recipes and it's pretty simple things.

We live 50 minutes from Melbourne city by train just outside of town and close to the station (17 minutes walk or you can borrow a bike) so you can easily access the city.

We are on 2 acres and we are regularly visited by kangaroos in the front yard or back paddock. We also have 2 Jack Russells, 10 hens and a stick insect so looking for somebody who loves all kinds of animals (and insects).

4 hours per day in exchange for full board (including all meals). Weekends off.

I look forward to hea... more inside

We are now actively looking for a suitable couple or 2 friends able to start after 16/11 to help us to finish restoring our gardens.
IThis is your last chance.
If you are a keen gardener and able to work unsupervised, able to handle shovel, wheelbarrow, mower and other gardening tools, and enjoy good food... you are it.

We have an acreage of land set amongst farmland (mostly grain farming) in Bannockburn which is approximately 90km from Melbourne. The closest city is Geelong, which is 20km away. Bannockburn can be reached by bus from Geelong. We are close to The Great Ocean road, Angelsea, Torquay, Bells Beach & quaint coastal villages.

Your own vehicle would be a bonus for you but not essential.

A little bit about ourselves: we are a retired couple who’s have lived in Victoria for the past 12 years. We moved here from Queensland to be closer to our grandchildren. Our daughter & son in law are on the farm and we are close by to help out with th... more inside
