We run a Mango hobby farm in Peachester, Sunshine Coast with a few hundred fruit trees, large vegetable gardens and a dozen farm animals.

We are looking for helpers to lend their skills and life knowledge in farming or handyman work. But we also welcome any motivated travelers looking to use the coast hinterlands and Glasshouse Mountains as a base for a few weeks in exchange for 4-5 hours work each weekday.

We have 4 private single and double bedrooms for helpx. There is a commercial kitchen, rec room with pool table, TV, table tennis and lounges. Workers are free to roam the farm after their shift or hang with the animals. Fresh food from our gardens and orchids provided all week.

From all the various farm jobs to working with animals, to producing and cooking food. It will all be new and interesting. Our lifestyle has had a positive effect on all our past helpers, just read our reviews to see how good it has been for them. We've had some really great helpers and they have said some lovely things about us! We enjoy having people here and they seem to enjoy it too.

Kim and Lucy run a free range pig operation, but also run a cattle herd and have other animals like horses, chickens, ducks, sheep and goats. We manage our land and animals using organic principles and are working towards an “almost” sustainable lifestyle. We have a vegie garden and eat our own hom... more inside

Our farm has a rich history and we have several projects happening. We are very outgoing and really enjoy experiencing new cultures.

We require 1 to 2 workers who are reasonably fit, outgoing, and willing to experience a very different lifestyle. We especially want you if you have initiative and can work independently and intuitively. In exchange for good work ethic, we often take our helpers for day trips into country.

The area is often referred to as the last frontier due to the extreme weather and wildlife. We welcome people from anywhere in the world and the length of stay is not important, you may stay for 1 week or many weeks.

The facilities we offer include internet, wide variety of food, toilets, fully furnished kitchen and your own lockable room. The bus stop is walking distance to the house and we are next door to the famous Lion's Den Hotel. Please remember there is no mobile reception on our farm though.

We have a wide range of work to... more inside
