Hello we are looking for a helpx for around the house duties could include cooking, cleaning, gardening or washing cars.
We are very busy this time of year and are struggling to keep up and this is where you come in... Ideally we'd like someone to stay for a minimum of a week but prefer 2 week stays. We would also like someone willing to do a bit more through the week and have weekends free for bbq's drinks or going out sightseeing as we prefer a relaxed fun weekend for everyone!

We can offer you:
*Food and accommodation. You will have your own furnished room in a large house. Bus stop outside the gate and train to the city just 700metres away. We have a lovely big vegetable garden and use as much as we can grow ourselves in our cooking.
*there is a bicycle you can borrow
*Wholesome home-cooked meals. We like to make our own pickles and jam and bread etc and can accommodate for gluten free easily or vegetarian.
* Our great company! We love to socialise, have a drink, talk... more inside

Hi, I need help renovating my place. I plan to reroof, refloor, redesign and decorate. You can help with any or all, if you have the appropriate skills. If you're an architect, engineer, designer, builder, trades person, or a PA/organizer that -can gently crack a whip-, I would love to hear from you.
In exchange, I can provide accomadation, meals, and take you to some of the local points of interest. I have surfboards, wetsuits, and bicycles you can use. Do you want to improve your English? I have qualifications and experience in teaching English as a second language and enjoy doing so. I cook reasonably well and look forward to learning new dishes from you.
It's just a short walk to the beach, a bike path runs along the foreshore and the bus stop is just a 100 meters or so away.

Hope to hear from you soon, John

Hello helpers as our wonderful helpers Alex and Sophia are now on their next job and have decided to continue their travels after 5 months. We can cater for a couple but already have one helper here who leaves on the 3rd October for a harvest job she has lined up so single or a couple.

If you like animals or more particularly cows and want a different experience to fruit picking. As a small farm we can offer training in handling cattle. Feeding and looking after small calves. Tractor driving and irrigation. The planting season is nearly here so some tractor work could be available if you have some experience or at least a drivers licence. (Training can be given and instruction)

We can sign off for some or all 88 days however prefer to have some training time to work out weather the arrangement is working for both sides.

Due to the isolation and no public transport it is much better to have your own car or van. . We do have one spare bedroom available for... more inside
