We are looking for helpXers at our property in Bridport, North East Tasmania. We would like you to help us in the garden, with housekeeping abd odd jobs. We work with you.

Important.
When you message us please state the exact dates you would like to come and help please. Also please don't message if you really have no intention of coming to Tasmania. We get many requests, we agree and then the helpers change their minds and others miss out. That's not a fair system.Thank you for your understanding. We have been let down 5 times during the past 2 months.

Can anyone tune a piano? Just thought I'd ask.

We are a couple, with grown up children, who have travelled extensively and now operate an accommodation business on our small property.

Where are we.
The property is near to wonderful swimming beaches and nature walks, and the town has a variety of shopping available. We are located 50 minutes drive from Launceston.

Hi to who ever may read this!!! ????

I have been an electrician for ten years and I am quite an outsdoors type person, a sports fanatic and love mostly being at the beach. I like to try new foods and experience different cultures and ways of living! Emaly does waitressing and bar work as well as looking after our beautiful little daughter. She is a very outgoing person who is very passionate about animals. Especially our dog 'dexter'.

We are both from the small island of Tasmania, Australia. We have been together for 7 years (not married yet), we have travelled overseas often including spending a year backpacking in Europe and 5 months backpacking in Asia. We have a home here in Tasmania that we have been renovating for the past year. We will only accept people who will respect us and our house as if it was their own. We have tasks around our small cottage which could include things such as cleaning, gardening, painting, cooking, and labour type work based on your skill set. ... more inside

NO LONGER LOOKING FOR HELPERS AS WE'RE ABOUT TO CLOSE DOWN!

My name is Lena, I'm 30 years old and manage a farmhouse which was build in 1841, restored to operate as tourist accommodation, where we mainly need help in housekeeping. Experience would be an advantage, but is no must! We're happy to show you how it works :)

Work is approx. 2-4 hours a day in exchange for amazing food and accommodation.
Really not that stressful and lots of free time!!!

The farm is in a remote location, but we can usually pick people up from Hobart Airport and generally go to Hobart once a week if anyone needs a lift to the city. (Right now we're attending swing dance classes and you're welcome to join :)

Me and my colleague/roomy Valerie are super friendly, open minded, positive characters and always in for a game of cards!

There are also lots of Wallabies running around. Our kind of wild, but trusting possum Peter who comes every night to get apples and peanut butter. Our sweet cat Mi... more inside

Hello! We would like someone to stay with us between the 20th and 30th of April minimum, who is good with animals and will look after them and feed them when we go away for a few days. When we are at home we like to go to the beach and go bushwalking and are happy to take you too.

30 ODD ACRES OF FARM LAND IN BEAUTIFUL LORINNA. Being established as a self sufficient holding that is completely off grid with veggie gardens, a house cow, beef cattle, rabbits, chickens, bees and more in the plans that we'd love to have some help with! We're planning to build a post and beam strawbale house with earthen floors and roof, building to begin soon.
We're just easy going, casual folk here, we don't get uptight about much and like to laugh and have a good time. We have 3 homeschooled kids aged 15, 14 and 11 who are capable, polite, respectful and friendly, and that's not just their mothers perspective! We have a dream that we want to build and could do with a little help to achieve it.

What can you learn here? Well, we like to think learning goes two ways, and is a life long objective. We have so many plans here, so we're always building something new. Recent projects have included the cow shed, milking bale, chicken house, beehives, gates and fences. Veggie gardens ... more inside
