Hello, just wondering if there is anyone out there who's interested in doing a bit of gardening, beekeeping and house work. Im an Airbnb host and a beekeeper so the jobs are varied.

Nice old house by the sea. I am hoping to find someone with experience who can help in the house, airbnb and garden for a few months.

We are doing up the property and have a lot of work is done to date but we do need help.

There are two bedrooms and a nice big bathroom up stairs in the house. A kitchen, sitting room and living room downstairs. A nice enclosed garden. The house is approximately 1 mile from the village (15 minute walk) which has a shop, post office and 2 public houses.

The work that needs doing is painting both the inside and outside of the house. The kitchen needs everything taken out and the floor tiled.
We will be putting up an extension to the side of the kitchen to make a dining room.

The outside needs a lot of work to make it a nice garden.

In May, June and July will be time to turn the turf in the bog and when it is dry bag it for taking home.
Turf is the fuel that we burn in the fire. It is cut by a machine and then has to be turned by hand.

It would probably suit a couple or two friends as we wont be there all the time or someone who doesn't mind been on their own.

We live on a working Sheep and cattle farm.45ha and small horticultural nursery specialising in perennials. Some Alpacas and poultry kept as a hobby too. Hopefully we will have four bee hives this year, if you have experience with bee keeping it would be great. If not we will be able to learn together. We live in the scenic Glencar valley. Well known for its Mountains and walks, Glencar lake and Glencar Waterfall are both within five minutes by walking. There is a good Salmon river on the land. We have our own fishing rights on it however you will need a national fishing licence for salmon. The other gems within walking distance are Sruth ar an aighadh Ard ie the river flowing back out the mountain. We have immediate access to Kings Mountain and Benbulben from the farm. Knocknarea mountain and Lough Gill lake are within 10km. Rosses Point is 7km away. Strandhill is 12km from here.Sligo town 8km.

My house is located a 10 minute walk from Kenmare town centre which boasts excellent restaurants, pubs and an arts centre. The town is on the coast and nestled amongst hills so would suit anyone with an interest in hillwalking, kayaking, fishing etc. There is a golf club, gym and swimming pool in town and a number of organised activities if you wish to meet like-minded individuals.

I am looking for someone to help me with housework and homework, particularly French. My son has difficulty concentrating as he has sensory seeking behaviour which can be challenging at times.

I have a lovely en-suite bedroom for visitors for you to stay in but would prefer female help only. An interest in minding children would be a bonus as I could then get some time to myself! We have an elderly cat and two hamsters as well as goldfish. Minimum stay 1 month.

We are a family farm who make our living from organic farming. So it's serious for us - not a hobby. We welcome volunteers all year round who are interested in country life, farming without chemicals or gmos, and learning about working with nature.
Our main farm product is hens eggs, but and we are building up our horticulture by adding four large polytunnels this year.
We generally need help in the gardens, with our hens, in the house, with fencing and small building projects.
In terms of exchange we offer time spent in a beautiful farm surprisingly remote from the modern world yet still just four kilometres from the nearest town (and atlantic beaches); english-speaking family and volunteer companions; guidance and instruction on the day-to-day practice of organic farming; an understanding of the economics of making a living from farming; we have bicycles for our volunteers to use to explore the area - music, pubs and landscape.
Many of our volunteers have found their experi... more inside
