We are a Spanish family installed in French Pyrenees, we bought this farm in 2017. We live 2 adults with our 6 years old son, a dog, a cat, three chickens and five ducks.

I am a puppeteer but at this moment I renovate the house and work in the garden. I have training as a carpenter, and experience in ecoconstruction, I spent some years volunteering in a permaculture project.

We are looking for a person who can help us with the carpentry and the garden, someone who is well surrounded by nature and eager to learn, we value experience and long stay.

The different projects for the near future are: Make apple juice, the construction of an outdoor dry toilet, reinforce some points of the fence, plant fruit trees for the good functioning of phytodepuration, cut some trees. But the most urgent are the interior works, such as finishing the wooden walls, to continue the clay plasters. And the exterior works will be done as time permits, and we have the necessary materials and tools.... more inside

Welcome in the Morvan! My name Hans Remmen,I'm in my fifties,a permaculture designer/landscaper builder and Dutch and now living in a small hamlet in the hills in Parc regional du Morvan surrounded by nature. Click the youtube link above and see how beautiful the landscape is in the drone movie Joep and Diemar made this hot dry summer of 2018.

This Burgundy area has many cycling and marked walking trails, a very rich biodiversity and 4 seasons which have each their own charm.

Permaculture is my tool to live in and with nature and offer wild life an interesting habitat so it can develop as rich as possible. My gardens are registered refuges by the Ligue Pour la Protection des Oiseaux (LPO).
Long term helpers can tend a permaculture design course. Books about permaculture in English and Dutch are available.

All sort of work to help out depending on the season. In the vegetable garden and orchard grow and harvest food, with the restoration of my in 18... more inside

We live in a beautiful part of France, and we are looking for flexible independent helpers, to help us.
We are looking for help at the moment to restore a barn, we would like to joint and render à stone wall with lime rendering. The garden also needs some work, weeding, trimming, cutting, etc. as well as some painting/restoration work on the buildings and garden furniture .
Building or gardening experience is valued, but common sense and good attitude are always a plus. Some of the work can be physically demanding, so be ready to sweat!

In exchange for 4_5 hours a day, we offer accommodation and meals with us, and hopefully some nice evenings learning new stuff, and having a laugh.
St Jean de Paracol is a very small village, with a good atmosphere and with plenty of great places around to visit, particularly for those who enjoy walking.

Hello!

We are a little family, living in south France, in Gers: Pascal, Mélanie and Annah wich is 9 years old and homeschooled and Plume almost 2 years.
We try to have a non violent parenting.

We also have some animals: hens, 2 cats, a mule and a shetland, birds in the trees, roe deer and wild boar in fields around!...

We both like to do a lot of things by ourselves, and we try to tend towards self-sufficient.
We live in a typical old farm and we refurbish little by little, at our tempo and on nature pace.

We have a lot of projects for the lands like gardenning with permaculture, creating a forest garden, building a beehive, using solar energy and our good sense!

For the renovation of our house we use earth, lime, wood, pigments and mostly some recycling, many organic and natural product and our hands for doing the work...

We love cooking, especially vegetables and wild plants, flowers, mushrooms. We eat sometimes meat but not much, so if you are vegetarian ther... more inside

We are renovating an historic building that was constructed around 1570 as a convent that operated as a school until 1960. We need to rebuild shutters, paint, hang insolation, cook, do light gardening and tidy up. Skilled artisans (plumbers, carpenters, cooks) are appreciated. The building has two apartments (for 2 persons each). Both have private bathrooms. Four-hour workday program with self-service kitchen. Six-hour work days offered with meals included, vegetarian meals available. Walking distance to bakery, grocery store, pharmacy, etc. Small animals may be accepted upon interview. Non-smoking environment.
Nearby historic Gallo-Roman ruins, Joan of Arc birthplace, châteaux, etc.

Located about 3 hours southeast of Paris, the rural hilltop village between Champagne and Lorraine. Bourmont is a "Petite Cite de Character," (small town with character), an official distinction for communities blessed with exceptional heritage. Urgently help needed.
I had my helpers all organized, but then unfortunately due to exceptional circumstances they had to shortcut their coming. Now I am urgently looking for some help from 25th October to 20th November.

My house is right out in the country, 375km south of Paris, 150km north of Lyon. The nearest small town with a super market is 12 km away, though there is a small store in the village, if one forgets something. I try to show helpers around, to see something of the area. Unfortunately there is no public transport. Summers are quite hot. In winter we rarely have snow, though it can get well below zero. A bicycle is available.

Who am I? I am Swiss but I live in France since 2002. I am still very fit, though I am not young any more. I have a small farm house, which still needs a bit of renovating. I do have someone who comes in the afternoons to help with the heavy work.

I raise geese, ducks, pheasants, all for pleasure not for eating. I also have some catt... more inside

We live in an old farm and farmhouse in Normandy. We have converted a cottage into a B&B with 4 bedrooms (all en suite) and the first barn into a gite. The next stage is to cover the swimming pool and then convert the next barn. We also have a Yurt and a campsite, chickens, a goose, goats and 2 cats. With the guest-accommodation, farm and further buildings to be converted, we could always do with an extra pair of hands. Skills can range from building, painting, cleaning, farming hay and general maintenance. Someone with a sense of humour would be great. We enjoy music so you may find all sorts playing, from classical to Genesis or Roxy Music!
We can offer accommodation, meals and working hours.

Easy to find and get to .. .By train leave Paris at the Gare de St Lazare for Cherbourg. Get off at Lison station and we can meet you there.
