We are doing some minor repairs as well as gardening on our SW Florida home. Basic carpentry and gardening skills - few hours of work per day with remainder allowing you time to explore this wonderful tropical destination. Additional assistance needed with inventory and moving of rare book collection. Home has swimming pool and fully equipped kitchen you are of course welcome to utilize. Small dog on site. We would prefer an older couple with some related experience, though will consider all applicants. Would ideally like a minimum of two week stay, longer even better. Look forward to hearing from you (and in attempting to change our listing to reflect that we are in USA not Canada!) Peace for ALL Species.

We are a mixed farm. We grow strawberries, raspberries, greenhouse tomatoes and melons, hay, salad mix and assorted veggies. We also have sheep and horses. You can check out our pictures on Facebook or northendfarm.ca. We go to two markets per week and have a small store on the farm. The property is ocean front which can make for some nice walks or dips in the cold water! We have dogs, cats and would therefore not be suitable for someone with allergies.

We are looking for a family to come and stay with us on our acreage on beautiful Quadra island.

We live at the end of a cul-de-sac right by the ocean and 600 acre woodland, a couple of minutes from Quathiaski cove.

We are looking for a young family who would be able to help us a little bit in our garden, less than an hour a day , in exchange for staying in our mobile home, which is independent of our house and has it's own garden etc.

Ideally we'd like a family with kids similar ages to ours (5,4,2) as we live in a beautiful spot, but there aren't too many kids around for our children to play with....

Come work with us to develop an alternative, farm-life experience !

During your stay you will learn and implement permaculture practices with much diversity, from market garden farming to working on natural buildings (cob house), wood-frame construction and many other communal infrastructure projects. You will experience a full immersion into farm-life under the supervision of our long-term residents and participate in the daily tasks 5 hours a day from Monday to Friday (there may be times when you are requested to work Saturdays in lieu of another day off). In exchange all your meals will be provided (the community shares in the preparation, cooking and cleaning up), you will have your own campsite for your tent (we have some extra if needed) and you will have access to our indoor and outdoor kitchens, bathhouse, laundry and living spaces. There is also a farm computer at your disposal with internet access, plug-in capabilities. However, we are a WiFi Free zone.

We are a small tour company based out of Sandspit, Haida Gwaii. We run zodiac boat tours into Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve.

We are looking for volunteers to help around our base in Sandspit as well as our Float camp on the northern edge of Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve. This is a stunning and remote location.

We ask that you work about 20 hours per week for your food and place to stay. We do try and get volunteers that stay with us for an extended amount of time out on the boats at some point as well. Our volunteers will usually do things like end of season cleaning and cooking, helping with carpentry projects, and doing some gardening and yard work.

We are also looking for Volunteers to work at our Float Camp in Crescent inlet. This is located in Crescent inlet just outside of Gwaii Haanas. You would be helping with cooking and cleaning at the Float Camp, this is a remote location and you must be okay with shared accommodation. These stays are 1 week at a... more inside

We can host usually only one person at a time, sometimes couples, to help with the clean up and upkeep of our wooded, wilderness home.

Our property is a beautiful, gently sloped, majestic grass land forest with stunning views of the ocean through mature BC coast trees.  As a family of 3, our daughter is 6.5, we are super busy with our online crystals and gems shop. We need help with firewood, brush clean up, pruning, weeding, and house cleaning. On occasion, delivery day is a time we need help with packaging and shipment of our products. We also attend the world famous Salt Spring Saturday market. There is opportunity to assist in a variety of ways with this as well.

We are offering a rustic stay in a tent on a platform under the boughs of our mature maple trees. There is an outhouse for quick and easy access and come on in the home for showers. Use of the kitchen for preparing your own meals is available. We are primarily vegetarian. Wifi is included and the signal reaches ea... more inside

...Looking for help for the gardens and carpentry skills...

Our property is a small farm setting, with fruit trees, berry fields, small garden, chickens, cats, and dogs. We're a 5-minute walk to the nearest beach. For accommodations, you will enjoy simple but comfortable 2 single rooms, or a separate studio with Wifi internet throughout or a wonderful trappers canvas tent set by a beautiful pond for a more rustic un-plugged stay. Use of the main kitchen for preparing your own daytime meals, and we always try to connect with everyone for big family dinner or weather pending, pizza fresh out of the wood oven for al fresco evening.
We enjoy people, family, food & fun. We would love share life on Saltspring Island, in exchange for some good-natured help. With the many projects around the farm and house, the list is always growing.
