At 7000 feet altitude it has clean air, and a center for spirituality for many, and has a global international population with residents from over 50 countries world wide.

Welcome! We're a couple of Indian-Australian-American hybrids living the natural life on our 1/2 acre plot in the beautiful Sahyadri Range (Western Ghats) in Maharashtra, India. We’re the globe-trottin’ type and bring the world’s seeds, artifacts, guests, ideas, and experiences to our land.

We are a homestead, permaculture farm, production house and workshop space.

We are at the beginning stages of our working our land, so there is lots to do and create! Ongoing work is maintaining the veggie garden, food forest, compost, nursery, and creative/decorative projects. We are also always producing -- peanut butter, kombucha, seed packages, granola, teas etc.

Our upcoming 2019 projects are:
-Build a cob oven
- Dig a lake and make a 'natural swimming pool'
-Build a chicken coop
-Build 3 eco-bungalows, 100% off grid
-Build Rocket Heaters and Rocket stoves for water

Welcome to our page! We are a hotel in Jaisalmer looking to host volunteers for a cultural and help exchange in India. We require volunteers that are able to assist us with our online tasks, managing our websites and helping improve our online presence and accounts. Volunteers can also help with managing our bookings and looking after our guests; helping them plan their excursions and exploring the beautiful city. In exchange for your help, we offer free food and accommodation, a bike to roam around the city and surrounding villages and access to our swimming pool. We also have a wonderful rooftop restaurant where you can relax and enjoy views of the fort, sunrise and sunset. This is our beach home located in maharastra India on the konkan coast 2 hours from the goa border. We have 200 mango coconut cashew jack fruit chikoo and wild berry trees on the property. The house is on a small hillock 500 metres overlooking the Arabian sea.depending on the number of Helpx you will either have a separate room and bathroom or shared with other Helpx.
The work will involve 4 to 5 hours of work for room and board. The work will involve various jobs from painting,landscaping, construction, farming- watering trees and plants.some website skills will be appreciated. Architects welcome too.
To get to Devgad after your work responsibilities, you can go by bus or perhaps there may be a bike. You will need an international lisense if you want to explore this Virgin coast of India.
We live in kolhapur about 3 hours away but will be at the beach house on and off while you are here. There is a full staff and your meals will be provided.

We have a guest house in Jaisalmer and have just started a new project 30 kms from the city in the desert. This comprises of 3 huts at the moment, a further 3 in the future, and a kitchen. We have also just started a vegatable garden. We would need general help on the land and some small building projects. Also there would be opportunities to work with the family who still work the land with traditional farming practices. This is a good opportunity for people to experience the life and culture of this desert region. We will provide accomodation, a contribution towards food would be appreciated.

Over the years we have built up several schools and are a committed community of educationalist, both unconventional and conventional. We are now looking for a teacher, preferably trained, who can help tutor a small group reaching Cambridge IGCSE level.It would be after school for 2 hours twice a week, as well as help with childcare and cooking. In exchange we offer food and your own accommodation as well as an inspiring and refreshing experience for teachers burnt out from paperwork and exam pressure. We will introduction you to the local culture and community, and ensure a very warm welcome. You would have plenty of your own time, and in holidays time to travel the continent.We do ask for a 3 month minimum commitment, preferably 6-8 months.

At the moment we are at the start of our project, so there are countless things we need help with!

We want to dig some ponds and water ways for our fishes .we create raised beds for our permacluture landscapes ,As well as general garden maintenance.



We want to build a proper campsite in the farm like a shelter, fireplace, wood storage etc. Using the materials from the land, We want to build a natural home, a small workshop area ,and a shower covered with bamboo trees in the stream .
Using living trees we want to make play houses for the children. We would like more children friendly structures.
We would like to make our guest house beautiful,and a mud house and bamboo house .
