Strictly NON SMOKERS please. I can take helpers during June/July at this stage.

I do not need childcare duties, some cooking and cleaning would be helpful but most tasks are outside on the farm.

It's officially Autumn and cooling down. Lots still to do outside before Winter arrives.

Gardening, splitting and stacking firewood, fencing etc.

20 acre hobby farm with orchard, horses, sheep, alpacas, cat and two well behaved border collie dogs who are very social.

Forest walks with the dogs is an enjoyable part of living here with kangaroos spotted most weeks. Plenty of birdlife with wild ducks and cranes, cockatoos, rosellas and kookaburras. Some helpers discovered a koala which is rare.

This is an Off grid solar and wind powered house, with WIFI and all modern conveniences but have to careful with electricity and water. There is poor 'mobile signal' and texts only generally.

Approximately 12km south of Daylesford. 18km from Ballan train station.

We live on a small property on the edge of Melbourne, (1 hour by regular train ) with resident kangaroos, cockatoos, echidnas and the occasional swamp wallaby. You will stay in the second 5 roomed house on the block. It has two bedrooms (double and single) and a fully functional kitchen so you can be self-sufficient an/or eat with us when you'd like to.

We are a couple our early 60s. We've travelled a lot ourselves and one of us is a mountain climber who ran an eco-tourism company in the Indian Himalayas for some years. We've enjoyed meeting people around the world and when we're at home, we are happy for the world to come to us! This offer is open between late June and the beginning of September.

We have several things we would welcome some help with- managing the garden and hillside (pruning, weeding, mulching etc); some sanding of window frames, some painting of outside woodwork. If you are a landscaper, brick layer or carpenter you would be especially welcome ... more inside

We have a beautiful farm consisting of sheep only. These sheep are for wool growing and for breeding fat lambs for sale. There is always alot to do as we have a large beautiful garden that needs attending and there is always something to do on the farm.Ray works fulltime in our nearest large town, Hamilton, which is 60ks away as a wool buyer. I am a part time nurse.
The jobs that we would like help in is, of course the garden and help on the farm, it can be lots of fun, but busy.
As we are about an hour from a large town we are willing to take you anywhere that you would like to go within reason. We are looking forward to having HelpXers come and live with us. You will learn about our way of life in country Victoria and we will learn about yours, we will help each other. Is there anyone out there who would love to come and help us and enjoy Western Victoria.
