Hi...we (Corinne, Andy, Kai (13) & Maya (9))live and run a B&B in the foothills of the Pyrenees, with yoga holidays & mountainbike hire. We're looking for someone (or a couple) to come who would be happy to do some pre-season maintenance including painting and decorating, and gardening. Some woodwork/diy skills would be a plus as we have some little projects to do also. And anyone with bike maintenance skills would be great! We'd also like to go back to the uk for a week in april/May or end of June/beginning of July if anyone is happy to look after our house and animals! We can offer yoga classes and biking in exchange for work, as well as food and accommodation. We're walking distance into a small town with loads of amenities plus there's direct access to beautiful countryside all around. Have a look at our website for a better idea. Need to be happy with dog-walking also! Look forward to meeting some of you. Corinne and Andy

We are a couple on an old farm with 3 children who are 25 , 24 and 21. Marie is 57 and after a long period with farming now she's passionnated for drawing. Alain, 55, is a piano tuner and rebuilder too. Alain can speak english but Marie not at all so we prefer someone who has some french bases or who want strongly to learn french. We need some help as well as for gardening than taking care of horses, bringing back some wood , helping to build a new hen house. We offer a bedroom with single beds and food in exchange of 4-5 hours per days with two days off per week. Also we prefer non smoking people.

Bienvenue à la ferme, Welkom op de boerderij, Welcome at the farm!

We have a dairy farm and milk 80 cows in the region Limousin, Haute-Vienne.
We are Alain(35) and Bevin(35), Dutch originally, but also speak English and French. We are a farmers couple with two children.

We like to exchange life experiences and culture. Life on a farm there's always something to do.
Different projects, and of course the daily routine of feeding and milking the cows etc.

At the moment we are in the spring season and the cows go outside, and we are at the end of the calf season.
It is time for maintenance chores and less work in the stable.

Other hobbies are bee keeping and rock climbing.

If you're interested we're happy to answer your questions

I am handicapped and need help planting and maintaining the garden that comes with my new built house. May vary from turning the ground, planting, cutting etc.

The Auvergne is a low mountain range, max. 1800m high. It is quiet, beautiful, famous for clean air and hot springs. Activities: hiking, climbing, mountain biking, skiing in winter, fishing, swimming, some castles to visit.
My village is small but with all amenities: supermarket, farmacy, police, baker, butcher, swimming pool etc. In summer, it is lively with tourists and all kinds of activities. It lies between 2 artificial lakes where you can swim or canoe, windsurfing etc. Bigger cities are at about an hour and a half away.
I live with a dog and a cat in a new built, sustainable house. Obviously, you have your own room. Bathroom is shared.

-Escalier
-Aménagement des rangements du rez de chaussée

B) Sur le lieu de vie:
-Clôture d’un espace... more inside

In 2019, the Ecocentre will celebrate its five years. It's still early childhood because at
the image of the man, the ecocentre will take time to reveal itself in its fullness. But already, we can
to perceive in what emerges particular traits, indications of what will be the place later.
Thus the ecocentre has become the starting point of many trails today clearly recognized, for short walks, for swimming, as if to cross the mountain on a half day or even days. We talk about nature, philosophy, garden, building sites, physical and energy practices, education and many other subjects.
From a more prosaic point of view, 2017 has allowed the emergence of a real garden characterized by the marriage of varieties and a nursery trees frui-third. Regarding eco-construction, there are now more restored areas than restored.

Creation of the pottery workshop in the summer of 2019, development of a collective kitchen with a bread oven, construction of dry stone walls,

Finally, to inspir... more inside
