The kettle is on and your bed is made... come and enjoy country living!

We are looking for guests to stay with us on our Darling Downs property. We are easy going folks and there are a variety of things to do here.. .

We will provide board and keep for volunteer work of a few hours (weekdays).

We have one bedroom for our guests.

We are not particularly seeking out hardworking folks but rather relaxed type people.

We are Sandra and Steve. We are on six acres on the Dalrymple Creek on a sealed road just one kilometre out of town. We have two house poodles.
We have relocated an 1930s Queenslander three bedroom house there [rescued from the city of Brisbane] and have lots to do and lots to enjoy. The house is very livable, with two big bathrooms. We are trying to be low impact self sufficient.

It is an off the grid rural property of 6 acres. We do have full electrical power from our solar and batteries, full flushing toilets that feeds our wormsmart treatment plant a... more inside

We are looking for a fit young man to help us with general gardening/farm maintenance on our rural property 2 hours south west of Brisbane. You may also be required to feed the chickens and Molly the dog.

The majority of the work required is outside, garden or farm work which may include mowing, weeding, whipper-snipping, firewood collection, etc. Right now we are building rock walls and doing other garden landscaping jobs.

We are a retired couple who have a large ornamental garden, an organic vegetable garden, chickens and Molly the dog. There are also a lot of wallabies, kangaroos and native birds living around our property.

We live off the grid on 160 acres of rugged hill country and have our own solar system for electricity and hot water and we collect all our water supply. Because our water supply is limited, water restrictions apply such as short showers, not using the washing machine every day and not letting water run unless necessary.

We are offering 15 to 20 ... more inside
