An inspirational sanctuary based in a tranquil countryside setting a short walk away from one of North Devonís most beautiful beaches.
We would love an animal friendly person to exchange help for accommodation and lovely food.
We require someone who can be good with cleaning and housekeeping.
If you are someone who truly loves being with animals, loves the quiet of the countryside, is kind at heart, self-reliant, willing to be flexible and help then you are likely to fit in with us and have a beautiful inspiring stay.
We are generally looking for a single female vegetarian/vegan non-smoker ONLY sharing our ethos and whom can easily fit into our family. Occasionally we consider couples too.
Please note we CAN NOT cater for any fussy eaters or diet fads. We provide basic wholefood vegetarian food.
Thank you for reading.
We look forward to hearing from you.

We are looking for someone to help out with basic jobs around the house such as a bit of gardening, cleaning, washing.... and the most important job which is to spend some time interacting, playing games and generally 'hanging out' with at least one of the children. We have two boys who are 9 and 11 years. We home educate our children, although my husband works full time and I am finding it difficult to keep on top of everything daily and still give them the attention they need so really looking for help with that. We are a happy and active family who enjoy travel, music and having fun. We would be looking for someone to interact with us as a family and in return we offer a nice room with a comfortable double bed and food. We request no smoking in and around the home and this is not a post for those who wish to party. Bridgnorth town is in walking distance and is quite beautiful and is set in the green lush rolling hills of Shropshire. We would be able to drive you to local ... more inside

Hello!

I am Nico, a full-time traveler (although now full-time web developer) from Barcelona.
I have traveled for +40 months and am now in London living in an old Victorian house of Nick, a cool guy who picked me up hitch hiking last year.
I mentioned I wanted to come to England so he offered me to stay at his place in exchange for very little work.
I have received so much help during my travels that now I have "my own place" I can help other people. I was always so glad when people offered me a bed, but it takes so little effort to help travellers that I feel bad for not having people over every single day...

At the end of May 2016, when I moved in, Nick and I started to fix the house and make it more friendly to live in. We had the idea that people could come and help us refurbish it in exchange for accommodation. It is an old Victorian house in Zone2 of London, and Nick and I (Nico) have completely refurbished one room (the one you'll stay in) by knocking down a wall and... more inside

We currently don't look for any helpers. Thanks to everyone who has been in contact.

My husband, daughter and I live on the edge of town on the grounds of a community called Osho Leela, a personal development centre with a strong community focus.

Even though we are part of the core community and work together with other community members that live here full time and volunteers that come to Osho Leela via the Community Experience Programme, we are looking for a couple that can come and stay with us directly.

We are flexible about the duration you would like to come and stay with us.

We would like you to work around 4 hours a day.

You have your own room to sleep in and WiFi access is freely available. Ideally we would like you to cook your own food and we happily provide the ingredients or we arrange a weekly budget and you buy your own food.

We are based in Gillingham, North Dorset which is a two hour train journey west of London and our home is in walking distance... more inside

Our home an old, 19c red brick farmhouse near miles of coastal nature reserves. The area is popular with tourists who come to see the seals at Donna Nook in November & December. Great area for photography, walking, etc - beautiful coastline and countryside - VERY rural, farmland surrounds us.

Cloddygate Farm is NOT a working farm. We have a large organic garden with flower borders, veggie patch, herb garden, fruit trees and greenhouse.

We keep a few hens for the fantastic eggs and the 'girls' are great fun too!

We usually like short term helpers(2 - 4 weeks) working in the gardens, weeding, planting etc., sometimes helping around the house, cutting wood, cooking, preserving but it's difficult to know as we do projects as money allows but we'll try to make your stay as varied as possible.

We would also like help internal decorating/painting this year.

Expect to work 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. In addition keeping your own room and your bathroom clean and tidy and ch... more inside

After a long winter break we are now ready to welcome new people, and are happy to hear from anyone who would like to stay with us and help for a bit from January 2018 onwards.

We live in the small city of Hereford and my partner Richard lives nearby. I have three grown-up children (two are travelling at the moment, and my son lives in the area). We have got a cat and a kitten, and Richard has got a dog. We are friendly, open-minded and outgoing and enjoy meeting new people.

I have a small garden, and live 10 minutes walk from the centre of Hereford with its beautiful cathedral, but also very close to open countryside. There are some small towns nearby to explore, lots of quiet lanes for running or cycling and a river for lovely walks.

There are always a variety of jobs to be done, both in the garden and in the house, such as planting, building raised beds, painting garden furniture, repairing bikes, or helping with jobs around the house such as cooking, woodwork, clean... more inside

We are a Yoga centre, we accommodate people to learn and train as yoga teachers and also run regular classes for the community.

Usually we have 3-5 regular classes throughout the week and most weekends we have students come to stay from all over the UK to train as teachers or do other short courses with us.

We do promote healthy living therefore we cannot accept smokers or allow any alcohol consumption on the premises, food with be veggie or vegan.

The work can range from help with cleaning the centre, help with cooking, help with the kids, gardening or whatever your skill area is. You will also be able to join in some of the yoga classes.

We have some lovely experiences with helpers from all around the world and if you want to learn about Authentic classical Yoga then we are the place for you!

We are ready to welcome you into our Yoga family!
