We have a new snail farm in the sunny South East of Ireland close to the curracloe beach (10 km) (this is where saving private Ryan was filmed) and in Wexford we receive the most days of sunshine than any of the other counties. We have a 3 ha farm with a few lambs (Barney, Desiree, Emily, Bubbles, Wilma and Betty), 2 cats (snowy and Momma) and 1.5 million snails and I'm not going put down their names. Martin and I we're a gay married couple in a 5 bed house willing to share our house in return for some help on the farm. Martin works Dublin and commute everyday and I'm the the daddy looking after all the animals. I speak English, Afrikaans and a bit of Dutch and learning Italian.

This will be perfect for a couple wanting to improve their English and use this as a cultural exchange or even someone thats travelling our beautiful island of Ireland. We have a Train station and bus stop that operate to Dublin hourly where you can connect to other town and city. I cook every evening a ... more inside

We live on the Dingle Peninsula where we have a Bed & Breakfast as well as a cattle and sheep farming enterprise. We would welcome anyone who would like to experience this type of life. Accommodation is in the farmhouse in a scenic rural location 4 miles from the town; all modern conveniences are available. The work would mainly consist of general farm work, some landscaping, light housekeeping, etc. The host will share his knowledge and experience with the guests. There will also be plenty of free time available for sightseeing, walks, and to explore the peninsula. Long-term preferred.

Hello, my name is Jacinta and I am a retired primary school teacher living on a lovely property in a quiet country area just outside the busy town of Drogheda on the East coast of Ireland. I live with my husband, son and daughter and am very active in the community having recently been involved in restoring an old blacksmiths forge and building a community hall in the area. I would like some help at home with basic gardening, weeding, grass cutting and some cleaning in the house. I can offer accommodation, your own room with a double bed for 1-2 people in exchange for 2-3 hours help per day, 4/5 days a week. The house has 2 living areas and 2 bathrooms. The area is very beautiful and also historic and we are also just 5 miles from some lovely beaches. Although there are some buses into town and also to Dublin, Belfast etc., it would be a bonus if you had your own transport. I very much look forward to hearing from you soon.
Warm regards,
Jacinta

Hello there,
We are looking for a female helper who can come and stay with us on our dairy farm. We would hope you would stay for at least 8 weeks. We would hope you could help out for 20-25 hours a week helping out with tidying about the place, gardening, playing with our 2 boys and the odd night of babysitting. We live in a vibrant popular town of Kinsale on the south coast of Ireland. You would have your own room with en-suite and would be made most welcome in our home. Any queries you may have about your stay just email and let me know. Looking forward to hearing from you. Catherine

Situated in the Golden Vale, Cauteen is a rural area 15 mins from the Glen of Aherlow & the foot of the Galtee Mountains. The cottage is 3.5km from Monard//Solohead Village, 7km from Tipperary Town & 30km from Limerick City. Help-Xer would have own bedroom & possibly share bathroom with 1 other helper, meals or cooking facilities as required. I have three dogs so I need someone who likes dogs.
I would like to have painting done outside & someone with an interest in gardening/landscaping to help me design & plant a garden on the one acre plot surrounding the cottage. Building experience would be a wonderful advantage as I have some lovely out-houses that I'd love to maintain. I would be delighted to help my guest explore local historical sites, scenic sights & cultural events during his/her stay.
