We Cannot sign working visas.

We will be needing some help with the garden for one week or so during October and we hope that you will join us.

There is also some cleaning, painting, and garden landscaping works to do.

We will be working on a few different projects around the house and in the food gardens, and often you can choose the work that you would like best.

There are some peaceful walks in the forest where you will regularly see wallabies, kangaroos, possums, and native birds.

This is a rural location with no shops within walking distance. But we do go into town fairly regularly, so you will be able to have a good look around the town if you want.

We are located in Central Victoria, near Bendigo, its about an hour from Melbourne by train, and we can pick you up and drop you at the local railway station.

We live here. Our house is mud brick, we built it ourselves using lots or recycled material. We live on solar power only (not connected to the elect... more inside

We have a very small property- 3/4 acre that we are developing to be self sustainable. We are on the edge of Melbourne and easily accessible to the beautiful Mornington peninsula and a train ride from the city. We have recently built an olive /citrus grove, a veggie patch, small vineyard and planted fruit trees. We have an area that needs developing which is a small gully. As our project is ongoing we would be really grateful for help in maintaining and improving our garden. I love to cook and we produce our own kefir and Kombucha. I am also needing help to complete a chook pen so if you have any building skills even better!

My husband and I work full time running our own businesses and need help around the house and garden. Cockatoo and surrounding suburbs of Emerald & Gembrook are part of The Hills or Dandenong Ranges. This is a small market garden producing vegetables and herbs. We used to sell the produce at local farmers markets, but now it is used for catering work only (and for us to eat too!).

The vegetable garden is well established and we have a small flock of chickens. We are in the process of establishing a couple of small orchards, building a shed and a greenhouse.

Work is mainly gardening (weeding, mulching, irrigation repairs, planting, propagation, digging paths, making compost, wipper snippering etc.). Occasionally, there may be other seasonal jobs too, wood chopping, harvesting and preserving, killing and processing chickens etc. or building/maintenance type work, depending on your skills/interests and what is needed at the time. We're looking for help for about 5 hours per day, in exchange for accommodation and meals.

We are a couple in our 30s and a lovely little cat. The house is very nice and cosy, warm in winter and cool in summer. You would sleep in a private room w... more inside

We are looking for helpers to stay with us for a week with option to extend. Must love kids! We are a couple with three kids (10,6 and 3 boys), living in a house with four rooms and some very special views over the lovely semi rural bush. Our house is walking distance to Hurstbridge train station (1 hour to the city). The guests room is downstairs, with a futon, couch, table, heater, outdoor space. It is a cosy house and the kids are really energetic. We would love to host people who are interested in helping out with hanging out with kids, playing games, teaching them something new, some general house cleaning and giving a hand in the kids' school community garden and greenhouse. 4 hours daily of exchange..can definately arrange full days off so you can explore at your pace. We speak Spanish.

We run two beef/ sheep properties and we did have a Lodge but it burnt down on 5th June. We are situated in beautiful South Gippsland, overlooking Wilsons Promontory.
Since the Lodge burnt down we really just need help on the farms.
My hubby is 72 and is working far too hard. We need to take some breaks away. Work would include help with harvest, fencing, stock management and weed eradication. Ideally it would be great if you had some skills in rural work but not essential, a willingness to work is the main qualification.
We have a house available for a couple or live in with us for a single.
