Welcome to my site. I am looking for up to 2 people at a time, all year round suits me but remember summer time is really hot and humid.

I would love someone who can help with the gardening, painting and general house cleaning. Also be able to do some handy work around the house. Also if needed to drive me to Cairns for doctors appointments I have arthritis and epilepsy so am limited in a lot of things around the house, and the garden area so it gets left out at times.

I have only lived in this house for 4 years and I am still in love with this area. I'm interested in only providing a bed in exchange for a few hrs work a day and weekends off. You will have to provide your own food and prepare it as I'm not a real cook. However I have a great kitchen and you will be very welcome to use all my facilities.

If you love diving then this is a must. Great spots are only half an hour boat trip away, while it's only a two hours drive to Cairns. You have your own bedroom with a qu... more inside

Would consider a couple if you can share a queen bed. Approx 5 hours help per day in exchange for a room located off the house, food, shower, free wifi. Thank you
We look forward to hearing from you.

We have plenty of bird life and it is very quiet and peaceful. We have one beautiful friendly dog Tia and a cat Abby.

**FULLY BOOKED until August 9th 2018**
We are Paula and David, a retired couple. We run a Wildlife Release & shelter, dealing with mainly orphaned animals and birds whose parents have been killed on the roads, or by other accidents. We nurse them back to health, and if possible release them back into the wild. This can be a large undertaking, but also very rewarding to those who help. We mainly take care of wallabies, koalas, possums, and gliders. Sometimes we have injured birds too, like frogmouths or kookaburras.
We've been running the shelter for over 35 years.

We mainly need help taking care of the animals. This includes (bottle)feeding the wallabies, collect grass for them, and cleaning their pens, food bowls, and water bowls. For the koalas leaves need to be collected, their eucalyptus branches need cutting and changing, their cages need to be cleaned, and their water bowls cleaned and filled. Furthermore the gliders need to be fed once a day, and their water bowls need c... more inside

We live 400m from the beach on a block of 1100 m2. The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a garden in need of some TLC and an amazing mango tree. Bus stop into Cairns and beaches right outside the door. We mostly need help with the garden and the cleaning of the house and perhaps some cooking if you know how to, otherwise is not a problem. We need 3 hours a day. In exchange we will provide with accomodation and dinner. You will supply you own breakfast and lunch. Also we have a cat, just in case somebody is allergic to cats. If anybody wants to make changes to this conditions, we are open to discuss other ideas. Thank you

I live in a Log cabin on one acre a short walk from the beach.
It is a small town surrounded by beaches and at the start of the great barrier reef. There are 23 islands within 30 minutes boat ride. My cabin is large with a chilled atmosphere, heaps of music, a camp fire area and a bar outside as well as inside.

Painting, general gardening, tree planting and housework is mostly required.
Accommodation is in a comfortably furnished room with a double bed and air conditioning.
Our life style is pretty chilled which includes travel, bbq's, music, kitesurfing and fishing.

Depending on what help I need,I would expect 3-4 hours per day for 2-3 days per week. I will provide food and help show you around this awesome part of Australia.

Internet is available for email log in, general browsing and transport inquiries.

We have a 2 bedroom home located on an acreage property on northern beaches. My husband, Peter and I live here with our 3 house cats. Our property is only 2 minutes on foot from the shopping centre where you can access public transport and it is 1 km away from the beach. We are 25km from Cairns city, approximately 30 minutes by car or 45 minutes by bus. Our nearby suburbs are Palm Cove and Ellis Beach to the north, more tourist orientated and Kewarra Beach to the south, which is more residential.

Our property is one large garden but with an orchard and a vegetable patch included. We have many tasks to complete on our property and mostly are in the garden. Tasks such as pruning, trimming, mowing, replanting our seasonal vegetables are an ongoing project as we try to keep our property maintained all year round. We also have a few residential wallabies living on our property.

Our suburb is quiet and peaceful. We are looking for a single person or couple who would be cat... more inside
