I am on a half-acre property and produce about 30% of what my child and I eat. The property has an ocean view to the west ( the beach is 20 minutes walk away) and an estuary is situated over the hill to the east. Buses are a 5 minute walk from the house and run to the provincial town's rail station, trains from which run to Perth city taking 47 minutes. I am placed midway between Perth and the 'Southwest'.
There are always a lot of projects on the go here and I would welcome assistance with some of them.
There is one room available in the house.

We are a small intentional farming community, consisting of eight adults, one teenager, a baby and two primary aged kids.
We are a small farm and we grow veggies, plant trees, have chooks and cows. We build, fix and invent most things we live in and use so there is an opportunity to learn a variety of skills.
We are looking for people with farm/gardening/building skills as well as people interested in being part of community living.
We like to have a weeks minimum stay, longer stays are possible.
We live in a beautiful part of the world, between Albany and Denmark. Lots of beaches and bush walks close by. Sailing is also available, in the summer.

We are a community with an often dynamic, fluctuating population, we have taken on a piece of an old cattle farm and are doing earth repair work with large revegetation areas(approx 20 acres so far). We have a large vegetable garden and hope to soon establish a mixed fruit orchard. We have chickens, sometimes cows and other animals. We live in a beautiful area of remnant swamp/paperbark country and have lots of beautiful beaches in the vicinity. The projects that we have ongoing are many and varied, we have various building jobs to do and often there is painting, gardening, grass cutting,it would be great to have somebody that has done or is interested in permaculture, growing vegetables, compost making and lots of other earth based projects. We have bicycles and a canoe that people can use, sorry riders, no horses unfortunately! We like to have guests who will share in our daily lives which can also include cooking(yum!),cleaning, firewood chopping etc., who have an interest in sustai... more inside

We have a small property with a large garden, surrounded by forest, 13 km from Bridgetown. We have a self contained flat adjoining the main house.

We keep a few sheep and chickens and have 3 Clydesdale cross horses, that we use to take tourists for scenic bush rides on a wagon.
We can always use a hand keeping the garden maintained. Some weeding and heaping up sticks in the paddock.

So if you would like to spend a few days helping out in exchange for living in an idyllic country retreat and being shown around the local points of interest, contact us. We need some painting done and small shrubs removed from the paddock

We are a desert retreat centre in Boorabbin National Park. Peter has had a shoulder operation so we need a strong practical person to be his 'arms' during a retreat May 18-22 and until the beginning of June. We are surrounded by bush with our nearest two neighbours 35 km and 95 km respectively. We are undertaking restoration, revegetation and propagation work year-round. People stay here to experience the wilderness and explore desert spirituality alone and in community. We provide basic accommodation in relocatable buildings with shared facilities. The base camp provides campfire cooking, a refectory, a camp kitchen and a library. There is work available in the building of facilities, the restoration and revegetation work, the camp maintenance and cleaning work. there is work that will make you eligible to apply for a second year working Visa.
