Lieven and Agnes, a Belgian-Dutch couple like to be host family for one or two young people, long and short stay possible. We believe it is enriching to receive people for the cultural exchange.
We speak Dutch, French, English, German and Spanish. We have two pets: a Golden retriever and a cat
We live on a 17th century authentic farm in the peaceful Normandy collines countryside where we run two holiday gîtes. The location and region (pays d'Auge) are not so far from the seaside. The rich history of Normandy is always nearby.
By train (station Lisieux) it takes you 20 ' to go to the seaside and one hour and a half to go to Paris.
Helpers can stay in a separate guesthouse with private bedroom, toilet and shower. There is WIFI available.
We are culture minded: Agnes is a classical singer and Lieven is a sculptor-painter. Of course we would like you could go with us to concerts, museums, expositions, cultural events ....,
We are looking for young people to help us with a va... more inside

We are looking for someone from Spring to Autumn for at least one month at a time. We can take in one person on their own, two friends or a couple depending on the season. When we are busy we will only have space for one person.
You will have your own bedroom when possible (eg: the gite isn`t full), you might be asked to share your room or sleep on a mattress on the floor. (We can provide a tent in spring/summer)
Internet is slow but available.
Meals will be provided and help would be appreciated. Julia loves learning new recipes.

We speak French, English and Spanish. We are a couple with one young boy and expecting a second one for August, who have traveled a fair bit and have been helpers in the past. We love sharing experiences and having a good laugh, teaching and learning from others.
We have a veggie patch and hens. We try to provide for ourselves as much as possible. While you`re around we will, if possible, go fishing, shell picking and sailing together.
The gite is ... more inside

Hello travelers!
We are a French native family of 5 : Arnaud & Christelle 40, Martin (b) 12, Inès (g) 10 and Titouan (b) 6 yo.
We are homeschooler family, nay unschooler. That give us a live style different, there isn't a real difference between weekends and working days at home!

We live on a hill at 1,5 km of the village Le Fossat. We have a great view on the Pyrénées.

We have a smallholding of organic grape. We start selling on the markets.

We live with Melchior, our cat ( and Neela, that of your neighbor) and Una our great granny dog. They don't really have a very important place here, we love them and "they are", but it is important information for allergies or people who are afraid.
We have some hens and cock (no voiceless, but they are not close to the house!)

Think to have a personnal insurance to come here, and to be ok with our visa, if you aren't a Europeen citizen.

We are interested in sharing our home in return for light work in the farm/house. We manage the farm ourselves. It is a beef suckler farm Charolais cattle. We have two grown up children that come to visit and work on the farm from time to time. We would appreciate any help with for example the Animals, general farm duties helping along with the owner, in return for good food and accommodation,a chance to enjoy the experience of day to day living on a working farming and a chance to explore the beautiful regions of Bourbon and Moulins in central France.
Experience in farming work or building renovation would be good. Also a driving license would be useful.
Currently at this time of year after the harvest its more or less housekeeping business, preparing for the winter, cutting wood, attending to the fences, and getting the stock into good condition for the winter.

Our house is a typical South of France guests house. We can accept until 14 persons who are coming here to spend one or 2 weeks of holidays with friends or family. The garden is quite huge and needs a permanent maintenance. We have 2 horses and 3 dogs. Sometimes, we have to leave our house for a few days. It is the reason why we are looking for a responsible and trusty person.

We are a French family with two children (Misha, 6 and Anahi, 3 years old) living in an ecological house. We love to travel and discover new cultures and it is with great pleasure that we will welcome you. If you love the countryside, animals and calm, you will surely find your dream at our place.

Our house is an old hay house in the middle of the mountain of Bugey among 6ha of land. We are autonomous for water (rainwater collection), electricity (solar panels), heating (wood of the forest around the house). We also have a large vegetable garden, a very diverse orchard (with truffle trees) and animals notably to maintain the land open (2 cats, 2 ewes, 3 goats and many bees - chickens and donkeys will arrive soon).

We are looking for help to continue developing this magical place:
-support our efforts to clear the forest which has taken back its rights on the old vineyard abandoned 50 years ago and thus increase the grazing surface
-to help with the management of our animals ... more inside

A little garden, a little home outside a little village in the beautiful Corbieres mountains. I live practicaly always outdoors. I share my food (vegetarian), my outdoor kitchen and my living space. I buy as little as possible, growing most of what I eat myself. I believe in home made life. Homemade mayo, bread, beer (if I had enough space to bottle it) and whatever else we have the ingredients for. Do not worry you'll eat plenty. You can even eat meat and cook it if you provide it.

My outdoor house is nestled in my garden that explodes with flowers and vegetables. I can't bring myself to kill a pretty flower. Your sleeping accomodation will be in a greenhouse tent in the middle of the garden separate from the kitchen and my trailer. There is internet and a hot shower that is accesible nextdoor from my land lord.

I am not a slave driver. I mostly need a third hand in my lovely garden and someone whith a driver's licence. I have a van but no driver's licence. I want to take off... more inside
