Gardening, animal care, wood and construction work,... and all kind of outdoor jobs.

To go further with our project, we would need people who are used to the outdoor and physical jobs.
Also mechanical and building skills would be very welcome :)

A fantastic site, a crazy project, animals in every corner and two eccentrics in search of an improbable conversion. Here's what you'll find in the middle of the ruins of a medieval castle and its outbuildings.
We left Britanny to the Hautes-Pyrénées three years ago, to begin this life project as ambitious as exciting. With our garden and animals, we try to develop an educational farm, as well as a asoociation to save the ruins of the chateau!

Located 450m above sea level in the Pyrenean foothills, our little corner of paradise requires numerous works of all kinds to regain its former glory and to adapt to future projects: land clearing and building, logging, preservation of stone walls, development of livestock buildings and pl... more inside

We, are breeders of Charol... more inside

Our little farm with 3 persons (a 10 years old girl) and many animals (donkeys, ewes, chucks, dog, cats and many wild ones...) welcomes helpers from all over the world.
We are in the middle french pyrenees in the south of France. This is a peaceful greeny place hundreds miles away from urban life. It is an herbal tea story (and others products with dry plants, wild or growned, aromatics and medicinal) , sold on markets associatives shops or other short and fair way...

The old farm is getting a new life (low impact home rebuilt with maximum regard for the environment). Dry stone wall, frame roof...
We need help in so differents activities that you can easily find yours!

AT THIS MOMENT:
hands are needed for planting, weeding, fencing, picking, preparing the plants, making tea bag... mainly outdoor activities but all physical !

We appreciate energetic, positive, effecient and independant people ;-)

We can welcome you in a mongol yurt, a caravan or a cleany cocoon attic... more inside

Welcome to this beautiful part of the south of France in the foothills of the Pyrennes. I live here with two of my three boys. Sam the eldest lives and goes to uni in Aberdeen for the moment. I am looking for someone or a couple for 1-2 weeks from 25 June 2018. I have a list of things, diy, painting, garden projects(1 in particular), general day to day stuff. Get in touch if you are interested or might know someone that would be and we could see if it will work. Thanks Emma

Hi everyone!

We are Pierre and Claire, installed recently in the Armoric's Coast.
After many travels and experiences, we decided to put our luggage between Guingamp and Carhaix in a corner of peaceful nature.

We are committed to ecology, respect for all, and we want sharing and exchange of services.
We are both musicians . We speak French, English and a little Dutch and Icelandic remains.

Both are vegetarian and want to live as independently as possible!
The place is full of potential, allows us to create multiple projects on the ground so that this place becomes a haven of peace, love and light.
We've an association in socio-cultural, ecology and wellness. We would like to create events on this place...

We are looking for help to:
- Cut, assemble and pack firewood
- Maintain, digging, planting, harvesting in the vegetable garden
- Build various places of rest and recreation (wooden huts, bread oven, barbecue, swing, solar shower, hen house, shelters wood, ....)... more inside

Availability:We are a bit tight on dates now, but if you think you have skills we could use and fancy visiting this area, then please do message us.

Martin and I are retired but very active. I was a teacher and ran a business, Martin was a builder and it's largely thanks to him that most of our old farm buildings here have been sensitively renovated in the local style. We live just to the north of Bergerac and have over a hectare of land with a few goats, a few hens, a vegetable garden, more fruit and walnut trees than we need, and we run a couple of popular holiday properties on the site. I speak good French although the main language in the house is English.

We really appreciate an extra hand from willing guests from time to time, and the chance to make new friends, hear new perspectives, and share stories round our table.

Although we are in a rural location, the lovely town of Bergerac is 5 minutes by car, with lots of things going on there as well as train and bus link... more inside

We are an English family living in France, working parents, with one child at home. We live just outside a small market about 1 hour away from Mont St Michel & Caen, 1.5 hrs from port of Cherbourg, 3 hours from Paris....

I now run an English shop epicerie & make cakes and help is often needed here. When at home we need help mostly with gardening, some decorating and general housework but there's lots of time off. You would be included as another family member, with your own room, or if there's more of you I have a gite which is available occasionally. Use of internet also available(wifi)......

I am becoming very busy with work and events, and most of our previous helpers have enjoyed quite a lot of social time with us and friends. Once the daily jobs are done, some meal prep & now tearoom prep, there's loads of time left for you!!!! The only thing we don't like is people wasting our time, if you are fun, enjoy having a laugh, hardworking, non smoking, interested in people, ... more inside
