Wanted (especially) for latter half of October and first half of November 2019!

-- Only for non-smoking helpers! --

We would offer a private room with shared kitchen/bath in a newly acquired 48 year-old house to be used as Airbnb in the near future! We will provide simple breakfast selection at that house, and dinner at our house which is a 5-minute walk from that new house.
Please help with my preparation for airbnb (mainly cleaning the house and fixing a few things) and holding an international communication event during your stay (introducing your country to our local neighbours). Working time can be negotiated - could be 3 full days a week or 6 half days a week - to suit your schedule. We might not be able to take you around places on weekends as much as we used to, as the daughter now concentrates on studies, but we can give you lots of information on where to go and what to do on your days off.

We live on the island of Ondo in Hiroshima prefecture.

HI! I am running a business which is a traditional Japanese style hotel, tennis courts, futsal and so on. The owner (Yoshi) is a fisherman and his wife (Nonchan) is managing the hotel. The hotel is very well located, the beach is at only two minutes away and the tennis club barely a hundred meters away. The peak season is july and august but we can accept people all year round.

The schedules are very comfortable, mainly 3 hours in the morning to help in the kitchen and clean the rooms and 3 hours in the evening to help in the kitchen. The days off will be accorded when the hotel is less busy or if it is busy all time the helper can choose when he want to have his day off. 3 days work, 1 day off. The food and accomodation is provided in exchange.

The staff is kind and helpful and if you want to learn japanese it is a good place for that, because the staff mainly speak japanese. The owner can speak english. The owners are very friendly and they can go out with you at night or a... more inside

Hello I'm Sim. I and my friends are running a small Guesthouse near Fukuoka city.

Our jobs to run a Guesthouse are
1. Taking care of guests
2. Washing mattress cover
3. Cleaning everywhere

It's like a house keeping.

I'm living in this small Guesthouse located in Futsukaichi town, that is near Fukuoka city, which is the biggest city in west side of Japan.

We are 15 minutes from central Fukuoka city. Futsukaichi is not noisy, it's an old traditional town.

Our Guesthouse is close to "Dazaifu-Tenmangu" shrine. That shrine is the most famous place in Fukuoka. You can visit that shrine with wearing Japanese traditional wear "Kimono" from our Guesthouse.

You can enjoy traditional spa, it takes only 3 minutes by bicycle from here.

And our town is very convenient place to go around Kyusyu island.

There is a highway bus stop in Futsukaichi and all trains stop at Futsukaichi station.

You can stay free in dormitory room of our Guesthouse.

We are Japanese Canadians trying to turn a 176 year old house into a guest house/retreat. Acquired in march, we have made large strides in repairs and cleanup, but it is hard to up keep daily and weekly chores, as well as renovations and modifications! THAT is where I need help! On top of the house being old, it does produce some challenges with traditional garden, some gardening, housekeeping and just suggestions on ideas. Bonus if you can help with meals too! The town has a history of around 1200 years. Due to this, there are trails and old roads that are not a part of the kumanokodo network. These trails are usually quiet and can be completed with in a day. There are options to do sections of the kumanokodo if you would like to be dropped off and picked up.

!! I am looking to fill 6 positions on the week of October 27th to November 3rd as requested by my neighbourhood! The first weekend of November is the Ryuujin fall Matsuri (festival), included is learning the traditional d... more inside
