Homestay in beautiful Raglan, direct access to the beach.
I am looking for help in a very large garden that runs down to the beach. Beautiful views while you work!
I am also looking for help with cleaning, some painting and general home maintenance both inside and outside. The hours of work would be 4 hours a day and we can work these out to suit your day and mine.
It is not necessary to be experienced in either but if you are-great!
I would expect a cheerful helper who is willing to work as hard as i do.
In return, I can guarantee you will fall in love with the views and the beach at the bottom of the garden. I can provide a separate to the house studio to stay in with a fridge and basic cooking facilities. The shower and toilet is separate to this but will be for your own use.
Breakfast I will put supplies in your studio and I will provide morning tea, lunch and an evening meal.
There is access to free wifi.

I am an easy going, well travelled person to stay with and ... more inside

Hi travelers! Do you like avocados?

Avocado Harvest time is nearly here so there's lots to be done around the orchard and I would love to get caught up on some of the around the house jobs too. If you're friendly, relaxed, can tolerate noisy kids and our busy life we'd love to meet you.
Most of the Orchard work to be done at the moment is weeding and moving mulch. Work is for 4 hours a day usually in the morning, you will also need to help out with a few domestic jobs on top of that, dishwasher, the odd evening meal etc. There's no orchard work in the weekends so you are free to do your own thing, there's beaches and forests to explore 30 and 45 minutes drive away.

We are a family of 4 (2 kids aged 12 and 15) who live on a small avocado orchard in Pukekawa - 45minutes drive to Auckland and 1 hours drive to Hamilton. We have 2 horses, 1 dog and chickens. Quiet rural setting, swimming pool, bikes available to borrow. We offer food and accommodation in exchange for he... more inside

* We would love to find somebody to help us in the next few weeks - from 22nd Nov onwards - especially with the garden, painting, fencing etc. Get in touch if you are free! **

We are a young family of four (32, 32, 2 and 4 month old) that live on a small lifestyle block in Te Pahu about 20/25 minutes drive west from the centre of Hamilton. We have a few paddocks, the property is scattered with fruit trees (avocado, lemon, mandarin, feijoa, tangelo, apple, plum, peach, passionfruit and nectarine!). We also have a few raised beds with lots of veggies growing.

Originally from the UK, we both speak English and my wife speaks a little French. The house is a three bedroom family home and we also have a seperate studio flat that we use for AirBnB. You will stay in the studio, it has a beautiful luxury feel, with own bathroom, kitchen, tv etc. We of course supply fresh bedding, linen and internet.

We enjoy improving the property and could do with help with a number of jobs like... more inside

Our land is in the hills above Raglan. It is about 4km from the village on a quiet rural road. You will need to have your own transport because of the location . We are approx 2hrs from Auckland...(2 hrs from airport)and about 35 mins from Hamilton and well located for day trips to Rotorua, Waitomo caves, Hobbiton or surfing or exploring the beaches and great outdoors. Raglan is a coastal village known internationally for its good surfing and black sand beaches. We would prefer a couple and people with experience working outdoors. The work at the moment is primarily outdoor work, some light, some heavy, for example eradicating bamboo off the property and young wilding pines and work in the vege gardens or cutting and chopping firewood. We have hens and a dog and cattle come and go. You will have your own room Min stay 3 days, and sometimes my neighbours can use help too. In return for 4 hours solid work per day we provide 3 meals. We suggest if you need any special dietary foods ... more inside

Thank you for looking at our profile.

We enjoy people with a good sense of humour, out going and enthusiastic helpers.

We are ex-South Island farmers who moved here several years ago. Over the years both here and in the South Island, we have had many helpx people spend time with us, though in recent times we haven't had many.

We mainly have horses, we are breeding warm blood horses, based on European bloodlines. Our son has show jumped to top level in NZ, and has now set up a equine rehabilitation centre on another property not far away.

Besides the horses, we also have have a dog and two cats, also hens and a small mob of sheep and cattle.

You have comfortable beds, home cooked meals, and join us in our daily lives. You will be required to help us both outside and inside . My husband and I look after the horses. You are welcome to chat with the horses, we have mares just about to foal.
We are pretty easy going.

Having your own transport, would be a big a... more inside
