We are looking for hardworking, friendly people who show initiative and are enthusiastic to live with us and help us at our lovely country home.
The work would be varied but could include gardening, cooking and general house duties.

There could be from time to time, work on the farm if appropriate.

We live 25 minutes from Gisborne, in a spacious home. You would have your own private suite including bathroom and tv.

We are an active busy family. My husband and I both work but we are sociable and active.

Your hours would be flexible so you could enjoy the wonderful attractions of the Gisborne region.

We breed horses on the East Coast of New Zealand in a lovely bush setting with a river running through it. We are surrounded by native bush and we have our own glow worms on the property.
There are a large number of diffrent native birds that come to feed around the property.

The beachs are only 10 minutes away.

We have a large number of horses, two big dogs a few cats and lot of Grandchildren that stay with us heaps..

We want to exchange board for help with the horses gardens and around the property.
Our house burnt down recently and we are in the process of building accomdation, so it's a bit hard going at the moment with outside toilets and camping shower.

Our little farm faces Hikurangi, the sacred mountain of Ngati Porou people. It is mainly in a valley with a little river running through it, and native bush as well. We mainly farm cattle.

In the home block, we are establishing a permaculture orchard and veggie patch.

Accommodation is in a nice whare (hut) next to the house, or your own room inside if you prefer. We welcome you to be as part of the family during your stay - eat with us, do the dishes with us, talk, laugh, enjoy.

Work is usually to help with gardening projects, general farm maintenance or sometimes help with the dairy cows and calves in Springtime.

Naumai, haere mai ki to matou kainga!
