Update: Hi lovely home helpers, i am looking for some enthusiastic, responsible and sweet person to help me from 6 June. I would prefer someone that can stay up to 3 weeks (if you want longer happy to have you at home) and female.

Are you looking for a lovely family to spend some time and enjoy your stay with? And you like vegetarian or vegan meals
Here is the deal, im looking for a friendly, sociable, relax, organised, tidy and clean, independent, mature yet young sweet, energetic female that has a creative/imaginative mind and like to spent time laughing, playing, eating, cooking, tidying and cleaning. I have a 9 year-old child that is very chatty and playful, energetic, loving and very happy.
Tasks to be done: dropping and picking child from school while i am at work, preparing afternoon tea, playing or reading with child, some house cleaning too
The hours may change according to my work schedule, will post new schedule end of May.

Greytown was awarded NZ most Beautiful Small town 2017. Our town is in the Wairarapa region - about 1.15 hours drive from Wellington

We are a couple in our late 40's that left the rat race in Auckland 8 years ago and decided to move to the country and change our lifestyle. We both have corporate jobs which involves traveling around the country.

Our property is a 3 acre lifestyle block located on Udy Street which is one of the prettiest streets in Greytown and a very popular walking route. There's a walking track at the end of our street that takes you through farmland and down to the river which is a great way to see some of the countryside. We have bikes available for you to use.

On our property we have 70 olive trees, 50 Fruit trees, a vegetable garden, a green house, lawns and flower beds

We have the following animals: 3 dogs, 2 cats, Sheep, 3 Alpacas, 2 Kunekune pigs, Chickens & Peking Ducks

We also have a cottage on the property which is rented out via airbnb

Hi Helpers

We are a family of 5 who live on a lifestyle block in Te Horo about 15 min north of Paraparaumu. We would love some help starting for this sunday ideally ( 6th of May) for upto a week to help mainly with tree planting. we have a wetland and are taking part in a restoration project to return and restore native trees and wildlife. Also if you would be interested in doing the odd spot of baby sitting, or if you have an interest in cooking perhaps...
Our family consist of our 3 children- Ben who is 12, Andreas 10 and Lisa 8. Ed works as a vet and sally part time as a physiotherapist. We have a dog Timmy, a lazy cat cookie and a large number of chickens.
We all enjoy playing board games, being outside and inviting the world in through having helpx visiting :-)

In your downtime you can have a row on the lake, cycle to the beach, take a walk in native bush or just relax.
As well as meals, you are always welcome to help yourself to food from the kitchen.

We are a family of 4: Myself, Amy, my two daughters and Dido (our great Aunt). I am 35 and the mother of Eleanor (8 years old) and Aoife (4 years old). I am studying to be a midwife. Dido is a meditation teacher, writer, and climate activist. My daughters go to a nearby Montessori school within walking distance to the house.
As a family, we are passionate environmentalists. We love to garden and are experimenting with a permaculture food forest in our back garden. We have chickens. The house is within walking distance to some great bush walks, and as a family, we keep active with bushwalking and cycling.
Dido is unwell, and I am studying full-time so having an extra pair of adult hands and good company makes a big difference for us. We may ask you for childcare, housework, cooking dinner and some outdoor garden chores. My children are at school from 8:30 until 3:20 Monday to Friday. Dietary wise, we eat meat, lots of veges and not much sugar.
You would be staying in a pleasant,... more inside

We love having people to stay and we are just 15 minutes from the city by No 8 and No 7 Bus.

We are Maori and do enjoy helping our guests pronounce Maori Place Names. In fact most people who speak another language do better that the average New Zealander.

We have lots of work to do outside (gardens, lawns, gather firewood, etc) so if you have experience and enjoy the outdoors, then we need you :-). As well, we have many inside house tasks (painting), general cleaning and cooking for those who love to cook.

You will have your own bedroom and use of bathroom.
Our priority is to paint paint a bedroom and trim hedges and do a bit of general cleaning. We love experiencing different food.
If you would like to stay for up to 7 days we look forward to hearing from you

This is a small, very private and peaceful property on the edge of a protected wetland of regional significance, five minutes from the Otaki rail station and inland from the coast. It supports domestic vegetable gardens, a small orchard, and firewood trees in addition to the wetland margin and native replanting. Help needed with these activities (garden preparation and maintenance, firewood (cutting, stacking, moving) wetlands (weeding and replanting) as well as domestic chores such as house maintenance (window washing, repainting, home handy person repairs).
Accommodation is in a charming, private, stand alone cottage with new bathroom and stovetop cooking facilities located beside the main house. It has one double bed and a sofa bed as well as table and chairs and sunny decks with views into the orchard and beyond. Our guests tell us the meals we provide are very good.

Idyllic spot on the Kapiti Coast offering opportunities for fruit harvesting, pruning, tree planting, blackberry hacking, feeding animals and vegetable gardening. Beautiful river and hiking activities in the Tararua Mountains within walking distance in your free time. Also a piano, guitar and ukelale available for free time. Nearest cafe and supermarket shops are 10km away. Train station to get to Wellington city is 13km away. So possible to stay without a car but not ideal.

Hosts have travelled and volunteered overseas so enjoy the company of travellers. Guest accommodation is at the far end of the house in a lovely light room with outlook to garden. No curtains but very private. Bathroom is shared with host family. There is a toddler in the house so afternoons and evenings need to be reasonably quiet. Accepting couples or women only at this time.

We live in Raumati South about 45 minutes out of Wellington on the Kapiti Coast, we live by the beach with Queen Elizabeth park at the end of the street, we are married and have 4 children who have all left home, we are both in full-time employment, and would describe ourselves as hardworking but enjoy life. We are on the bus route but also we have the train station not far away.

The assistance we require is too help with all projects around the house from gardening, moving sand and all other general maintenance around the house.

We have a double bedroom, so if you are not a
couple and do not mind sharing the room and the bed that is fine.
