We would like to host TWO helpers traveling together for 1-3 weeks. All of March and early april is available for an exchange.

We are Caro (37) and Ed (44), a couple living with our child, Mo (6), our handsome cat Captain Springs and our friendly chicken Heihei Ferichito.

Our home is in beautiful Careys Bay. 15-minute drive to Central Dunedin. A short walk to Port Chalmers, a lively seaside village with a great library, attractive shops, cafes/restaurants and cosy pubs with regular live music. Out the windows we see Otago harbour and the Peninsula. The Historic Careys Bay Pub is a 5-minute walk around the bay. 10-min drive to Aramoana, the mouth of the harbour, with a surf beach, cliffs, and a historic spit with fur seals and other wildlife. The beaches over the hills behind us toward Waitati are absolutely magnificent. Our house is warm and cosy. We go into Dunedin frequently if you need a ride into the city and there is also a regular bus service :-)

We live on the Otago Peninsula, but are only 20 minutes away by car or bus to Dunedin. We are a busy family of four, slightly chaotic but easy going, friendly and welcoming. My husband is very busy and so I'm looking for somebody to help me in the garden. There are some hedging plants to dig up and new ones to plant; apples to pick, general weeding and also wood to chop.

I have settled in Aotearoa in 1983 after leaving Germany and travelling the world extensively. My field of work is alternative medicine.
I live in a beautiful home overlooking the Blueskin Bay and we are part of an idealistic community aiming for self-sustainability and connectedness. You will find a variety of stunning beaches, where Xaver stumbled over a penguin last night, as well as walks in the Silver Peaks with mountain huts and plenty of bird life. The neighbouring Orokonui Ecosanctuary is a further attraction. The drive to historic Dunedin takes 20 minutes.
You will be accommodated in our own cosy sleepout, so will have your privacy.I am happy to share the meals with you and my cooking isn't suposed to be too bad.
The work would envolve gardening, lawn mowing, wood chopping or other odd jobs.A fair exchange seems to be 3-4 hours work per day. Looking forward to meet up with some enthusiastic, likeminded travelers.

We are a family with 2 children (12 and 14 years) and live on a small farm on the Otago Peninsula. It is 15 mins drive to the centre of Dunedin, and on a convenient bus route. You can walk down to the local shops, gallery, beach, boat club etc and we have great harbour and rural outlook (while still being close to town).

We have a collection of pets (cats, dog) as well as sheep and alpaca on the property.

We both work as well as managing the activities on the farm and house/garden. We have a beautiful established garden, and would appreciate some help with gardening and other maintenance jobs around the house and property.

Accommodation would be a sleep-out right by the house or possibly a room inside the house. We are looking for some interesting company, and someone willing to help out for 4 hours/day in exchange for accommodation and meals. Our beautiful garden has become pretty overgrown, and we would love to have some help to make it lovely again!!

A forested property on Otago Peninsula, a half hour's drive from Dunedin. Half the area is regenerating native forest. The rest is a mix of exotic and native trees as well as orchard apple and plum trees and berry bushes.
We have a scenic track though our native forest with broad views over Otago Harbour, from the heads in the east to Dunedin city to the west. We also have 5 sheep, as well as our welcoming committee, our dog Lexie.
We are actively developing Our farm to be a native forest refuge as well as a heritage orchard and gardens. It is a sunny sheltered property, close to Dunedin city and many fascinating wildlife wonders that include Southern Royal Albatross, sea lions, seals, yellow eyed and little blue penguins. We welcome travellers who enjoy culture, nature, good food, great company.
