If you feel you are the right person or people for us, we look forward to receiving your application.

This is a permaculture small farm on the edge of Violet Town, just 800m from the train station. The farm is well established, as most tree planting was done between 1996 and 2000, and the tree crops are well maintained and productive.

We have a large established fruit and nut orchard, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, chickens, milking goats, bees, forestry for shelter and timber, and large dam for irrigation and swimming. Our house is made of timber and mudbrick, and we catch our own water. Most of our food comes from the house garden and farm, including a huge range of fresh fruit all year round, a range of vegetables for each season, honey, cheese, olive oil, table olives, and home killed or ... more inside

We won't be needing anyone till September 2020, thank you all and best wishes with your plans

We live in the mountains of north east Victoria, one hours drive from Albury Wodonga. It's a really pretty place with rivers and creeks and friendly people. Our garden is what needs the most work as there is about 4 acres of it and we open it up to the public for some of the year. We have a large collection of medicinal plants and visitors can take tours to learn how plants were used to heal in the past.
We also have some house painting to do.
We like to do artistic things, we make our own soap and always have building projects on the go.
The gardens are magnificently landscaped and include a water lily covered lake with Monet bridge, large vegetable garden and hedge maze.
We are located beside the Mitta Mitta river in a picturesque mountain area close to the snow fields.
We ask for 5 hours or there abouts gardening or odd jobs per day.
You will have your own room and comfy bed... more inside

A lovely large bedroom in the downstairs of our house is available for a help x person. Or 2 people if they are a couple. There is a king size bed, desk, shelves and drawers. It has Windows looking out on to the garden and trees. There is a sliding door that opens to the garden and a table and chairs just outside the door that you can use for eating at or reading etc.
There is a lovely bathroom with shower and toilet next door which no one in the house uses. The only other room downstairs is currently used as a yoga and meditation space which you'd be welcome to use in your own time also.
It is not self-contained so you will be sharing the kitchen with us in the house. There is a kettle and toaster for your use downstairs.
Help exchange involves on average 2 hours per day of child care or house cleaning/domestic duties. On average one evening a week required for child sitting. The child care duties would involve spending time with our 7 yr old son doing activities with him such ... more inside

We are on a two acre property, in South Gippsland, near Wilsons Promontory, with two golden retrievers, chickens, 2 sheep and bees. We currently have a couple of construction jobs underway (an Alpaca shelter and Mezzanine in a shed) and well as needing to work on the small vegetable garden, trim trees and various other tasks usual on a property. I live here full-time, and my partner, Geoff, spends weekdays in Melbourne and comes down on weekends. We are looking for some help with these jobs around the property, mostly on the weekends when Geoff is around, and a couple of days a week. Otherwise you would be free to explore this lovely area.
We have guest accommodation, two spare rooms, one with a tv, with own bathroom. Shared kitchen and living.

We currently have a vacancy. I have a spare room in the house and you will have own bathroom and share everything else we have a vacancy for a couple.and would love some help with, gardening, general farm maintenance, caring for animals and aupair and also if experienced to assist with caring for horses and ponies dependent on experience. We love anyone with DIY skills.
Own transport is needed as we live out of town and are often away unless you are happy to ride a bike 10km's to town. We are just under one hour's drive from Melbourne or an easy train ride from Southern Cross station. If you want a break from Melbourne City then come and see us!
If you want to come and go from property you will need your own transport as I go into town in the morning and often don't return until the evening. But I can drop you into town in morning and pick up in evening so you can go to Melbourne or Ballarat during day via train.
We live in a lovely 4 bedroom ranch style house built on 30 acres... more inside
