We need help with preparing vegetable gardens ( market gardens) for summer and autumn planting, weeding, making beds and mulching. Doing it in a group would be fun!!

We currently have two other helpers- a farmer from Israel who has been here for a month. She will leave in a few weeks. A French helper is also here mostly helping in the house. She is keen to learn English, so we would prefer not to have another French helper at the moment.
We also have friends who come each weekend to help on the farm with gathering wood and building .

We live on a farm which provides a great deal of our food. We always have meat ( chicken, pork, beef, lamb) in the freezer and eggs ( duck , guinea fowl, pheasant, hen) and goat milk. We also grow vegetables.

We have fabulous food every day - Thai curries, pizzas, roasts, stews. There is always a LOT of food. We make our own beer and wine and ginger beer and lemonade . We make jams and pickles and cheese and butter.

We do not take vege... more inside

Situated on the edge of the Great Divide, we are surrounded by great views, Kangaroos, Wombats, Echidna and numerous bird species including wedge tail eagles, Rosella's and Kookaburras. Just an hour from Melbourne [less from the airport] we can arrange pick up.
Our farm has Highland Cattle, Chooks and a great Vegie garden. While we have no urgent work requirements and the farm is only our hobby [we both have full time occupation as well]there is always something to do, but full time or long term employment is not available!
We have a spare room with double bed or we can accommodate 2 x singles as well. The nearest public transport is 15 minute drive and we can drop people of most days as we go past the station nearly every day. Our current projects are house painting, wood cutting and gardening.

Hi. We live in a mud brick house on a hill with stunning views in north central Victoria. We'd like helpers to assist in the garden and paddocks. We have young horses and a small herd of breeding cattle. Cheerful, sociable and energetic, we need some extra help with a building project plus to pick up small rocks, cut and stack firewood, tidy paddocks, check fencing, work young horses and maintain the garden. We love travellers who are cheerful and adaptable and who don't mind cooking to help out! We ask for four hours' help per day in exchange for breakfast, dinner and accomm but we're flexible. We like musicians! Other residents are two dogs and a cat. Helper accom is in two double bedrooms. We are 7 car minutes from a small country town with lots of cafes, pubs, pool and a library as well as a rail trail for walking, bikes and horses. It's less than an hour to Lake Eildon for boats and fishing plus the Goulburn River is 5 mins away. One and a half hours to Melbourne CBD and mobile... more inside

Come and enjoy a farmstay in South West Victoria. We have a variety of helper exchange opportunities from working with sheep & horses and general farm maintenance to domestic duties such as helping us get our house and garden back under control! Food and accommodation included. Language exchange encouraged.

We are a family of 4 in an old but comfortable farm house with air con and woodfire. Helper accomodation is a comfy bedroom in the family house with all amenities shared.

Flexible duties, hours and perks such as fuel for your car in return for work can be negotiated to allow you to travel and explore the region. Best to have your own vehicle as there is little access to public transport and lots to see in our region but we can assist if you don't. Nearest pick up for public transport is bus to Lake Bolac or Mortlake or train to Camperdown train station.

Ability to speak French would be appreciated (but not essential) as our kids are learning the language and if you ... more inside
