We are looking for someone to help out in a nanny/housekeeping role for a week or more.

We live in Clifton Hill , Melbourne, which is a great inner city suburb just 10 minutes train trip or 15/20minute bike ride in to the city. Our house is close to public transport, the Yarra River and Merri Creek, with lots of parks, walking trails and great cafes nearby.

We are a fairly easy going family who love being out and about - bike riding, kayaking, going to the beach etc etc. We often go away for the weekend, and you would be welcome to join us to explore beautiful places around Victoria.

Ben is a lawyer, and Inger used to work in Environmental education, and is currently a full time mum, and volunteering at the Asylum Seekers Resource Centre. We have two kids - a boy who is 5 and a girl who is 3. They are fun and playful with A LOT of energy. They love to try new food and learn new languages.

We also have a cat called Zabel.

You would have your own room with a comfy... more inside

HELLO and welcome to beautiful South Gippsland.

Full accommodation will be provided per seven nights in exchange for four hours work daily for 6 days with one day off. As well as taking in turns to cook the evening meal. Self-service breakfast and lunch.

I am looking for people to do some indigenous tree planting and general house/garden maintenance- digging and preparing ground for planting vegetables. The work will be mainly outside. If you have any specific skills I am sure I could use them!

The accommodation consists of a bedroom with a double bed. There is one bicycle available.

Under a two hour drive from Melbourne, Meeniyan is situated south-east of Melbourne, or 2.5 hours by bus via Leongatha from the Southern Cross Bus Station in Melbourne.

Our family (with three children aged 17, 15 and 9) lives in beautiful Beechworth, an historic gold mining town near the border of Victoria and NSW. There are great cycle paths, spectacular sunsets and lovely spots to explore. We have a spare bike so you can get around independently.

Our home is on 10 peaceful acres just 3km from town. We have 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 horses and lots of chickens. The horses love a brush, but they are not available for riding.

Accomodation while you stay with us is a beautiful 4-poster bed in the master bedroom with your own bathroom.

We prefer helpx guests to stay for approximately one week. We love longer stays, but need to meet you first.

We make all our meals from whole foods. If you enjoy cooking, we love to have help in the kitchen!

We can utilise your skills whatever they are. We ask for approximately 5 hours a day of help, 5 days/week.

I am always happy to negotiate tasks, days and hours. I don't push for too much but I do exp... more inside

Gerda & Eric Helpx
We have an acreage of land set amongst farmland (mostly grain farming) in Bannockburn which is approximately 90km from Melbourne. The closest city is Geelong, which is 20km away. Bannockburn can be reached by bus from Geelong. We are close to The Great Ocean road, Angelsea, Torquay, Bells Beach & quaint coasters al villages.

A little bit about ourselves: we are a retired couple who have lived in Victoria for the past 11years. We moved here from Queensland to be closer to our grandchildren. Our daughter & son in law are on the farm and we are close by to help out with the children. Eric has a sailboat which you will no doubt be able to go on weather permitting . Eric was a sailing instructor when we lived in France and is still sailing now and loves to share his knowledge and experiences with others. I (Gerda) enjoy spending my time in the garden, in the kitchen, and looking after my grandchildren & travelling around the world in between.

We're a couple in our early 30s. After several years in Darwin and 6 months travelling Europe and Asia on our honeymoon, we finally decided to settle down in Melbourne. We now have a gorgeous 1 year old and are about to embark on the next adventure of knocking down and rebuilding our house.

About our place:

About you:
- A couple or two friends happy to share a queen bed (we're not accepting solo travellers at this time)
- We're looking for people who are easy-going and self-motivated. We like people who want to help out without being asked and ask questions when you're not sure. This makes our lives much easier while we're hosting!

This is a permaculture small farm on the edge of Violet Town, just 800m from the train station. The farm is well established, as most tree planting was done between 1996 and 2000.

We have a large established fruit and nut orchard, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, chickens, milking goats, bees, forestry for shelter and timber, and large dam for irrigation and swimming. Our house is made of timber and mudbrick, and we catch our own water. Most of our food comes from the house garden and farm, including a huge range of fresh fruit all year round, a range of vegetables for each season, honey, cheese, olive oil, table olives, and home killed or hunted meat. We eat shared meals, most meals are vegetarian.

Type of jobs: farm and garden work, combined with learning, and share of household tasks, including food preparation from farm ingredients. Depending on your skills and interests and our needs, tasks can include caring for our vegetable gardens, orchard, goats and chickens, chee... more inside
