We live in a beautiful part of the world between the beach and Margaret River town. We live on a farm with multi- generational families, we work towards a lot of self sufficiency and we work off the farm also. Our interests include music and wellbeing. The Margaret River community is vibrant and has many activities on offer. Our family welcomes cross-cultural experience.
We like our Helpxers to be happy; we offer clean, comfortable, private caravan accommodation. Tasks are dependent on helpxer skills, farm, family and home requirements (such as whipper snipping, painting, wood splitting, gardening, domestic tasks, artistic skills and painting). Having a car is necessary as there is no public transport. We ask for 7 hours work a week, which means that helpxers can get work off the farm, if you like.
Kind regards :) Sabine, Tony and Family

I live in a large family home with my 21 year old son on a beautiful outer suburban property by a creek. On our doorstep are beautiful wildflower walk trails (and kangaroos!:) in Mundy Regional Park and Lesmurdie Falls National Park. Kanyana Wildlife sanctuary is nearby.
We have a large garden that needs lots of work. I have an art studio where I conduct art classes for children. The home is located in the Perth hills about 30 minutes from the city centre and 15 minutes to the airport. The accommodation is a large bedroom in our house suitable for a couple. The room has its own entrance door onto the surrounding deck. There is a shared bathroom and a large family kitchen.
I would need 15 hours help from each person for one week accommodation. Additional hours would be negotiated depending on the food/meals required. Full board, that is accommodation and three meals each day would require 4 hours work each day for 6 days. The help I need is mostly general gardening and some s... more inside

HELP! We are looking for a couple to join us for a week to 10 days in early to May, 2019. Depending on the weather, we'll be doing some gardening, restocking the wood pile and some general maintenance and 'spring cleaning' in the Cottages!

We are situated in Balingup, 240km south of Perth, set in the beautiful Blackwood River Valley.

Our 46 acre property includes 25 acres of Jarrah and Marri hilltop forest. It overlooks the beautiful little village of Balingup, and the valley of fruit orchards with their changing seasonal colours. Here you can enjoy being close to nature with an abundance of birds and wildlife.

HelpX volunteers are welcomed warmly. Depending on availability you will be accommodated with the host family in the stone farmhouse OR in one of our self contained Cottages.

The daily work routine will be tailored to fit your skills, interests and the season. It is also dependent on our other work commitments. Projects might include gardening, wood collection, ... more inside

I am a 76 year old woman living alone. I'm pretty fit but not as strong or agile as I once was. My daughter lives a few blocks away and has two houses on one property. Being artistic, she is totally inept at anything manual or practical, so I do a lot of maintenance and gardening for her, as well as my own place. In return for 3 hours work per day I will offer clean tidy accommodation in a modern home with your own bathroom and at least one meal a day.
Our houses are in Hilton which is 5 min from Fremantle, the Port for Perth. Hilton is a small friendly suburb with a few shops. It is on a bus route to Fremantle (5-10 min) and Perth.
Fremantle is a delightful heritage town peopled by a variety of ethnics, hippies and arty folks. It has a lively market and "cappuccino strip" that buzzes every day and night. Fishing Boat Harbour boasts several of the best fish n chip shops in the Southern Hemisphere as well as Little Creatures boutique brewery and pub. "Freo" houses three cinemas... more inside

Looking for one person or a couple to help with general duties in and around the house and garden and a little babysitting. We would like to have an organic veggie garden and other sustainable features so if you have green fingers thatís a bonus. We have not lived here long and have some grand ideas for what we want to create and would love input if you have any design ideas.
We are a family who want to create community and love having people come and stay and contribute. We have travelled and lived overseas and enjoy meeting people from different cultures. I am from the UK originally but Iíve lived here for 10 years now. My partner is from the USA but grew up in England and elsewhere. We speak a few languages (I speak terrible Spanish) and would love our family to be exposed to other languages.
In exchange you would have free accommodation and food (or without food if you prefer to work less) in a house that is close to the beach and fremantle town. Just jump on one of our bicycl... more inside

To all the lovely Helpx, please note Outback Australia can be quite daunting when you first arrive as it is stunning, but like landing on strange planet. Much will be uncomfortable, but if you let your hosts know there are some things they can change, some they can't. Most more than happy to try to do whatever they can to improve your stay. Most stations will vary their workload according to weather, but the hardest working most extreme environment.

Hi, this is a unique opportunity to live in a museum! I am a gay guy who is the curator and caretaker of an historic homestead built between 1862-1880, located within extensive gardens. Part of the house now functions as a museum. The property is in a rural setting at Greenough - just off the Brand Hwy- 19 kms south of Geraldton and 400km north of Perth. I have planted fruit trees and established an organic vegetable garden. Helpers must like animals as I have ducks, a cat and 2 dogs. The property is close to isolated stretches of beach, bushland and other tourist attractions. Work includes gardening, cooking, cleaning, art projects, translating, helping keep the museum open, minor property maintenance, etc.
Only have accommodation for one person at a time and prefer non-smoking helpers over 25. For helpers wanting to improve their English, I hold a Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (2001).
