Hi! This sumer we invite male and female helpers with good english.

We are a family living in a small town in south-central Poland. 12 kilometers out of the town we have the coutry house with a farm. We travel between these two all the time. We grow trees for sale, have some honey bees and fish ponds and have aviaries for pheasants (but no time for them this year).

This year we've decided to adapt our rural house to yoga-center. Therefore, there will be a lot of work to do and we will be pleased to invie people to help us. There's all kind of jobs - weeding, construction, cleaning, home duties, or even helping with organizing yoga-workshops, if only such occur during your stay.

We enjoy cultural exchange from people from around the world. We are learning english, so it is also a good language exercise for us. We prefer helpers for the period of minimum 2-3 weeks - if you want to stay longer, that's no problem.

We provide comfortable accomodation with a room, bathroom ... more inside

Our farm is situated on a hill of the beautiful Izery mountains between two villages amidst marvelous scenery. The unique attraction of our farm is medieval village consisting of ten wooden houses and a tavern for the occasional parties. Surrounded by fields and forest, the farm is an isolated and peaceful haven. Even though there are many people visiting year-round (it is also an agrotourist B&B), the summer is the best time to come volunteer.

We are implementing some permaculture strategies to build a vegetable and herb garden, which together with the fruit garden would form a self-sustaining food source. The volunteers would help with renovating the medieval village or with taking care of the plants. In the near future, we would like to build a few wooden houses for another project: an local, self-reliant community that would produce everything for its basic needs in a sustainable way.

Regarding accommodation, our guests can sleep in the wooden houses mentioned, camp site... more inside

We live in the Warmia countryside and have 40 hectares of organic farmland, which are mainly grass fields-pastures and forest. We also have (organic) vegetable and flower gardens, and an heirloom orchard - of old varieties of fruit trees which grow and in our region (most of them are still young).

We live in a 100-year old brick house, traditional for the region, which we are renovating together with an equally traditional and old brick barn. Our farm is about 15 minutes walk to the nearest small shop and bus stop, about 6 kms to the nearest small town, 25 kms to Olsztyn, the nearest town. In winter we are sometimes snowed in. We live with some animal friends - cats, dogs, a neighbour's goats when necessary, a pigeon ... sometimes someone else stops by for some time. And of course all the birds and the bugs around us!

We would love help with the house and garden in exchange for having you stay with us, from early Spring (beginning of May) till late Autumn. The most needed are... more inside

We live in a 100 years old brick house that is surrounded by meadows and pasturelands. Wild animals like roes, foxes, birds of prey, cranes, partridges and many other small and big creatures are our closest neighbours. Our vicinity is a land of lakes, forests and multiculturalism. Our holding has had a certificate of ecological agriculture since 2010. We have a small orchard with traditional types of cherry, sweet cherry, apple, pear and plum trees. There is a vegetable and herbal garden right next to the house, which is grown with traditional methods. The soil is mulched and fertilized with compost and extracts from single-handedly collected plants in order to provide earthworms with welfare as they create humus. We use previously gathered rainwater to water our plants.

In order to improve biodiversity we plant the stands of trees zones focusing mainly on trees and shrubs which provide birds with food and people with tasty fruits for self-made tincture, wine and lemonade.
