Permaculture smallholding rotating micro pigs through mixed woodland and pasture for habitat creation. We host bushcraft, wildlife photography, camping, festivals, weddings. Volunteer tasks will be involved in some of these activities as well as farm work.

Living on our farm off grid with no electricity and heating your own water and doing farm work is not for everyone. Phone signal is bad and there is no internet! This is proper off grid farm life.

You will be eating our farm pork or foraged greens as well as supermarket staples. It is hard work just living. You will be expected to strim nettles for about an hour. Collect firewood. Cook food. Weed the veg beds. Manual labour. Or if you have a particular talent guiding and looking after 2-6 year olds then that would be a help also. We want keen people that can take direction. You will be on your own on the farm alone for 2 or 3 days of the week. If you are unable to work independently on the farm then you could do some work on... more inside

We have recently moved into a unique property that was once the vegetable garden for Rosneath Castle (now demolished). The garden has been totally redesigned and comprises 1.5 acres of formal garden, a half acre of organic vegetable garden and five acres of woodland. We would love some enthusiastic folks with a real can do approach to come and help us with all sorts of things from organic gardening, wood cutting some inside refurbishment work and general maintenance. We are a couple in our fifties working full time ...heading towards retirement when we can spend most of our time outdoors.
In the meantime, we would love you to come and help us and in return we will provide ensuite accommodation and all meals. We would love you to work the equivalent of 28 per week but you are free to put in the hours as suits you...all upfront or 4 hours per day...we are very flexible about that.

I now have enough help until mid December.

Winter is a good time to tackle any infrastructure work that needs doing. This year we will be repairing the older raised beds and compost bins, building some new beds doing essential repairs to our packing shed.

I am in treatment for cancer for the foreseeable future and am often resting in bed. I am therefore eager to have additional help to ensure the project stays on target and that the house and dogs are well looked after. Being able to cook and drive in UK is particularly helpful.

This lovely part of Cornwall is very beautiful at this time of year and there is much to see.

We are a community garden in a large village in S.E. Cornwall on the edge of Bodmin Moor. We have volunteer sessions with community members twice a week and you would be a key part of that team. You would help to deliver weekly veg boxes to local homes.

The work here involves maintaining the garden, cultivating crops, working in the poly-tunnels, pac... more inside
