Hi we run a BnB and Connemara pony stud near Clifden, Connemara. We could use a hand to muck out stables, feed horses and general house cleaning for the BnB business. We also run a flower shop in Clifden and can sometimes use a hand there. This could suit a couple or one fit and active person. Horse experience will be preferential but not essential. We are situated in the heart of the famous Burren area in Ballyvaughan, County Clare. During the summer months we open our Bistro/wine bar serving lunch and afternoon tea, using locally produced home cooked food. A couple of households on a few acres...

We aim to be as self sufficient as possible with vegetables and fruits - large kitchen garden, polytunnel etc - and to nurture and care for this beautiful piece of land in West Cork.
I have also been planting many trees, mostly native but other interesting specimens too [legacy of many years working in a tree nursery/garden centre]. I still put a few more in the ground every year ['property tax', I call it] aiming to turn the marginal areas into mini woods and wildlife havens over the years. plus a few bits of flowers and prettiness here and there...
Unfortunately a couple of these areas have become somewhat neglected over the last couple of years, as my focus has shifted to other things... so this Easter [early April] I'm going to have a Big Tidy. I'm looking for helpx assistance, particularly from 28th March-12th April as I have time off at this point. We are looking for help for 1 - 2 weeks during March/April 2016 with maintenance jobs such as digging, weeding,jet washing, painting stable doors & walls and strimming. Positive work ethic is important as is a sense of fun and teamwork.

Our farm nestles between the beautiful Ox mountains and the Hill of Knocknashee which is 2 miles from the local village (one shop!) and 5 miles from the local town (tubbercurry), 35mins (by car) from local airport (Knock). Hello!

My name is Jessie, a 41 year old Irish woman living in Thomastown in County Kilkenny with my 20 year old son, dog Scruff and cat. We live in a little oasis about a 15 minute walk from the center of Thomastown with acres and acres of farmland around us. If you're looking to experience Ireland, wake up to gorgeous rolling hills, and have some fun exploring, shoot me a message!

There are a multitude of things that I'll be needing some extra hands to help me with. Mainly, i upcylce and refurbish furniture so i'll be needing help with painting, varnishing, sanding, wallpapering, carpentry etc. but otherwise, i'll be needing volunteers to help with:
