We are moving house tomorrow and this weekend 6 - 9 July 2017 and urgently need strong people to assist with lifting and packing. Happy to continue hosting after that date also.

Our home is on the outskirts of Nambour, a large town in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, around 30 minutes from the beaches. The Sunshine Coast has some of the best beaches and National Parks in Australia for you to enjoy including the Noosa National Park. It is important that you know that we are in a quiet area and any night life is 30 kms away, so you need to be happy with a quiet night life. We have a lovely creek out the back and plenty of trees, native birds and wildlife.

Having good life skills & taking the initiative with communication is preferred. We are a non-smoking house so non smokers only please.

We need people who can work cooperatively with adults and children. We are looking for help with our gardens, general property and house maintenance, cleaning and playi... more inside

An idealyic hidden property approximately 25km from Noosa 8km from Pomona. Totally private eco constructed timber pole house with wide open decks, swimming pool and seasonal rainforest creek and lots of native wildlife including tame kangaroos which love to be fed by guests. Please note land is designated land for wildlife and therefore no domestic pets are allowed. I require willing helpers who like working in the vegetable and native gardens and some general household chores, especially seeking artistic helpers who would like to use their creative talents and/or people with some basic building, painting and landscaping skills to assist in finishing off parts of the house.Other than that having your own transport would be a bonus as there is no public transport close by. I would require helpers to work approximately 20 hours a week for meals and accommodation. I can provide private caravan/cabin accommodation with own bathroom to suitable helpers. Suit single person or a couple. no... more inside

Hi, We are a remote area accommodation run by a small happy family surrounded by the beautiful Cape York rainforest, next to Iron Range national park and close to many picturesque beaches and amazing reef and river fishing spots. Our guests include contractors, birdwatchers, environmentalists, travellers and people keen to see Cape York and surrounds.
We are located in a pristine, remote environment but are still close to the airport which has direct links to Cairns. The town of Lockhart River is 6k's away and has all services, including a prestigious Aboriginal art centre, fuel, ATM and a comprehensive supermarket.
We would prefer someone who is fit, capable and easy going. The work involves mowing (using a ride-on), some simple maintenance, gardening, also preparation with cooking and cleaning cabins.
You will have your own airconditioned cabin.
We would like you to work 4 hours per day for food and accommodation. The work is not hard and the 4 hours are very flexible so ... more inside

We are planning to leave for the Gold Coast 600 race. We are sailing from Mooloolaba next wed 18th Oct 2017 arriving on GC Friday morning for the weekend. Sailing back Monday arriving back to Mooloolaba Tuesday night. Come for the sail down or the sail back or all of it. Let me know if you are driving down or back as ppl are looking for a ride. Hope you can make it along. Let me know your plans.
Sailing will be done mainly throughout the daytime, stopping in a sheltered anchorage each night.

I'm building on 2 rainforest properties. 1 acre next to lake Placid in Cairns & another 20 acres up Kuranda(Speewah) on the tablelands. I have a 3 bedroom place also in Kamerunga that provides all the amenities of a comfortable home.
I need help with construction and do not necessarily need people with experience but more people that are motivated. Obviously there are alot of spectacular places to see, lots kf bushwalking and i also have a few mountain bikes to borrow.
I have a boat and 4wd, and love to get out remote camping etc as often as possible. Love to share with people who are willing to participate in the journey.
ITS THE JOURNEY THAT COUNTS!!!

We grow vegetables, plus herbs and have cattle, pigs and chickens, all of which we market ourselves. Our farming systems mimic natural systems and helpers will be involved in all aspects of what we do, feeding and moving animals, collecting eggs, helping at markets, and the homesteading things we do on a daily basis.

At the moment we are doing some fencing, construction, tree planting and growing some vegetables.

Our 114 ha property has lots of bushland with plenty of granite boulders, a couple of creeks and dams.

Accommodation in your own caravan, meals, etc, with us as family. Meals are mixed, largely our own produce.

Our farming approach is guided by holistic management, permaculture and knowledge shared with other inspirational farmers. We have a good collection of alternative agriculture books available for helpers to use while they are here.

My sister (Bloss) and I (Rhu) have a 13,500 acre beef cattle property (Huntly) in central Queensland not far from Carnarvon Gorge National Park. Between us we run about 2000 cattle. We mostly use horses for mustering cattle but also have motorbikes and quad bikes if needed. My sister lives full time on the farm and I travel up regularly from the Gold Coast where I have an international development consulting firm. We also have a small 45 acre farm in northern NSW.

We have had many volunteer workers over the past 10 years many of whom have said that the time spent on our farm has been the highlight of their visit to Australia. You will be welcomed as one of the family.

We care passionately about the environment and as can be seen in the photos have carefully preserved our trees and have an ongoing tree planting programme.

We have 2 houses close together so good-quality private bedroom accommodation is nearly always available. For the adventurous wanting to get closer to ... more inside
