I am a female senior citizen and would appreciate some helping hand with the gardening, garden maintenance, which includes mowing and clearing of long grass and weeds. And if you can use a brush cutter that would be wonderful but it's not compulsory. Most of four hours daily chores are not heavy work at all and do not need any elbow grease but require commitment and a positive attitude; and all diligent helpers either males or females are welcome.

My main language is English although I speak Cantonese too; and I can have two helpers at the same time. Also, I am a vegetarian and I only eat one main meal a day at lunchtime but you are welcome to use the kitchen to cook other meals. Nanango is a small country town of just six thousand residents. The property is 7 klms out of Nanango, and so I can pick you from Nanango township. There is a Purser Coach that travels from Caboolture to Murgon (and Murgon to Caboolture) daily but only in weekdays and not weekend.

I have Wi-fi as well... more inside

We are a family of four - two adults and two girls aged seven and thirteen. We live in a beautiful location in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland proximate called Peachester, which is a very small town that is proximate to the Glass House Mountains and just fifteen minutes drive from the town of Maleny.

We are looking for a female helper to stay with us s part of a short term cultural exchange. In exchange for accommodation and high quality predominantly organic food we are looking for four hours help a day with a combination of housework, gardening, meal preparation and some child care. If a helper has other skills such as graphic design or administrative skills they would be most welcome to contribute these.

Working hours will be flexible and a helper will have one full day and a half off a week and the opportunity to be flexible in scheduling their contribution of hours e.g. if they contribute more hours on other days they can be free to take further days off.

We are a young family who live on a small hobby farm near the bigger city of Toowoomba. We have three small children who adore living on the farm and helping mum and dad feed the animals and "do farm work." We manage a small number of pigs and cattle and are currently in the process of making our home and land our own after owning it for a short few years. We have amazing panoramic views and enjoy a relaxed Australian lifestyle. We enjoy camping in the bush and fishing on local dams, and also enjoy the finer things in life like visiting nearby wineries and dining out. We would love to meet new friends who can share these experiences with us and also share a different cultural experience with our family.

Helpers would be required to help out with child minding and general house work chores and, helping to build a new vegetable garden. Other chores may include helping out on the farm, small renovation projects (painting etc).

We have a small (almost) self contained room down ... more inside

We cover over 270 acres, located on Cootharaba Road QLD, just a 30 min drive from Sunshine Coast. Beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. We raise a variety of animals including cattle, alpaca, sheep, horse, pig and poultry. We also grow fruit trees and vegetables using organic methods and have the intention to move more toward permaculture. The farm is strictly a hobbyist farm. Any produce grown on site is consumed by us and the animals here are not killed. Rather we raise them to teach everyone about animal care. We are very hospitable and welcome volunteers from all over the world to enjoy a great time living and working on the farm. Many of our regular volunteers speak fluent Mandarin so if you are learning, or wanting to learn, a new language why not learn the most spoken language in the world!

Beautiful location I was an AirBnB host but now I have decided to give my accommodation to HelpX, to help around the farm. If you wish to go sailing, I have an ocean-going yacht for a once in a life time experience. I also own a modern 20ft caravan and would love to show you many of the beautiful locations close to here such as Noosa and Byron Bay or even the Whitsundays.
My home stead is in need of a repaint and help is required. Apart from free accomodation, free excursions etc. a wage will be paid while helping repainting the house.

Welcome to Australia!

We own and operate a beef cattle station, running about 2,500 cattle, as well as goats, horses, pigs and poultry! We also do farm stays and other tourism ventures, so have lots of international visitors throughout the year.
We are looking for a person or persons who are able to assist us in cleaning and gardening around the homestead, the hospitality side of our business, and possibly helping in other areas of station life.

Working hours are flexible.

The homestead is on a river which is excellent for swimming, canoeing and fishing.

Accommodation and meals are provided, and are primarily meat based.

Own vehicle recommended, so you can explore the area.

We have hosted Wwoofers before, but are new to HelpX.
