Greetings Helpxers!

We are a family farm in Kulin, WA specializing in growing mixed cereal crops, and raising poultry and sheep. We run Dorper and White Dorper sheep in a Holistic grazing environment. We have a free range / open range egg production business.

We sell our produce through Farmers Markets in Perth and Helpers have the opportunity to help at the market, and see the farm produce go directly to the customer. We also sell to gourmet butcher shops in Perth and the general market.

We have planted approximately 700,000 trees over the last 5 years to provide better grazing and lambing conditions for sheep and to rehabilitate land. We are continually monitoring and adjusting our farming practices to stay focused on soil health, holistic outcomes and low stress stock handling.

Every day tasks vary and would include the following:

-Tree and soil conservation.
-Collecting eggs
-Cleaning, inspecting, and packing eggs that will eventually be sold in the farmers ... more inside

Hi, I manage a farm holiday cottages as well as my own organic property over the road. Accommodation would be in a caravan at my place, possibly in the cottages, if they are not busy.
I am looking for some one with building skills at the moment (June - December 2015)
There may be some cleaning required, but not too much. Any special skills would be most welcomed.
There's lots of animals to look after and enjoy, children are welcome, as are all good healthy living people. We will often cook for you, but appreciate you doing some cooking of your own. We aim to be locavores and will supply as much local foods as possible. Having your own vehicle is better, as we are 20km out of town and for sightseeing while you are here.
We are in a really beautiful area adjoining the Walpole Wilderness Area, and active in the campaign to protect our native forests.
