Hi we live super close to Brisbane city, the river and are surrounded by parklands. Train and buses outside the door or a short walk. We ride our bikes everywhere as it is all so close. We are renovating our home and have lots still to do. We prefer people with skills in painting, plastering, landscaping or carpentry. People looking for paid work are welcome you will have plenty of time to job search or just be a tourist. You can help us out in a flexible routine adding up to 4hours work a day for a bed. We are very used to sharing our home and have had visitors from all over the world for nearly 20 years. We are a fit, healthy couple who don't smoke. We get lots of visits from our sons who are in their 20's and happy to show you around the city.

We are a family of four on a beef producing property in a rural area (aprrox 2-3 hours from Bundaberg and 30 mins from local town, Monto). This farm includes 14 work dogs, 20 horses and approx 250 cattle. I have a small horse business that includes trick riding, liberty, campdrafting horses. With this I also have 'breakers' (starting young horses) and I am looking for someone who is willing to ride my older horses out with me on the young horses and can also help with the mustering and other jobs around the property. NON-SMOKER PLEASE. This will include full days of work and must have previous experience with horses and be confident with handling horses. You will be included in family activities (your choice). You must be able to tolerate kids because we often have children around. Minimum three weeks.

We have a lovely Country Queenslander style home on 1.7 acres of park land backing onto 50 hectares of native bushland. A large variety of wild birds, wallabies and the occasional koala amongst other animals all call this sanctuary home. We also have chickens and a dog named Rosie.

My Wife Bernie, Daughter Bonnie and I incourage you to stay as part of our family, for meals and social activities etc but there's plenty of room if you need your own space. There is also a pool for those warmer days. We enjoy the outdoors and would be happy to show the area off to visitors. We also have a boat and I spend as much time as I can on the water in beautiful Moreton Bay. With the right weather I could possibly show you the sights.

We are situated 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD, 20 minutes from Brisbane airport and 45 minutes from the Gold Coast. Having your own transport is an advantage here but not essential.

What we are offering is your own room for a single or a couple, with own bat... more inside

We are a Tropical flower farm near Cairns (about 25 mins drive South). We have about 650,000 plants and need help with hand weeding, mowing grass, planting and general landscaping around the property.

We grow tropical Heliconia's, Gingers and a lot of other tropical foliage and sell them to florists all over Australia.

It is physically hard outdoor work, so if you are not familiar to this sort of work you may not find it enjoyable / suitable. If you are OK with outdoor work in the heat (and sometimes rain), this will be a great experience for you. We also may need some help with cleaning around the house, etc.

We would expect helpers to assist from early morning for 5 hours (7am - 12pm) in exchange for accommodation, meals and use of the properties facilities.

We have a pool, push bikes, free internet. We can help with transport into Cairns occasionally, but not every day. Your own car would be beneficial.

We work 5 days per week - usually not on weekends, but som... more inside

The residence is high on a ridge surrounded by beautiful valley and mountain views all on 40acres of private land and backing onto national park. I work away at different times of the year and need help to host my airbnb business and look after the property. I am an easy going 39yr old male with lots of energy and am always busy working or playing :)) I am looking for someone/couple that are very tidy, extremely trustworthy and respectful of the property. The terms of your stay are completely negotiable depending on what skills you bring to the property.

Hello helpers, I have a one hectare property, close to the M1 and nerang Railway Station that I would like some help to finish off a few projects I have around the house. Accommodation provided is a bedsit style cabin, with ensuite and kitchenette. There is a paved outdoor area with a BBQ, and a fireplace. Free range chickens provide fresh eggs. There are beginnings of vegetable gardens. I would like 4 hours per day work in return for meals and accommodation, or 20 hours per week. Meals will consist of breakfast and dinner. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave oven toaster and jug etc.
Positions available from mid December onward. Building skills highly regarded.
Contact to further discuss.

I have a lovely one bedroom tropical cabin with a building for helpers. The outlook is beautiful with distant ocean views surrounded by Australian bush and gardens. I have 2 goats, 2 pigs, 2 dogs, 8 chooks, 4 ducks and some fish.

I am establishing a food forest using permaculture principles. The spare room needs renovations finished (your room). Plenty of projects on the go between animal needs and gardening and weed control.

Outdoor living in the tropics.
