Family friendly Holiday Park situated on the river estuary in popular Whananaki North.

Explore the awesome beaches just north of Tutukaka - walking trails, surfing, kayaks on the river - plenty to enjoy along this beautiful coastline. 35 Minute drive to Whangarei.

Ideally we are looking for a couple to assist with 4 hours work a day - helping with cleaning self-contained units, ablutions (toilet and shower areas) & camp kitchen. However 1 person or a family would be most welcome.

There is a bit of gardening and outside work that needs to be done, but this is on a when we have time basis

We supply accommodation, food, laundry facilities, pool, free wifi, kayaks and a great summer experience.

If you have a bit of initiative we would love to hear from you.

As a family we are very into our Celtic music and play a variety of instruments. We are involved with a monthly Ceilidh and are happy to take people to experience that as well.

We are a family of four (including two boys aged 7 & 9), living on our family farm, situated on the south side of the Whangarei Harbour. The farm has been in the family for at least 140 years. We currently farm sheep and cattle, along with two alpacas, ducks and hens! We are not organic but are starting to practise biological / regenerative farming methods. We have plans to diversify, which include building a harbourside walkway, replanting an old orchard with citrus and subtropical fruit, improving our olive grove and planting some more land in NZ natives. We are currently working on some farm-stay accommodation and are continuing with our traditional farm activities, including seasonal jobs such as shearing sheep and haymaking. We are also working on adding value to our coarse wool, by making rugs and other products.

Work depends on time of year, but includes gardening and weeding, general farm work, sometimes building maintenance eg painting, tree planting and possibly g... more inside

LIFE'S BEST OUT WEST!
Hello

My 2 acre lifestyle property is situated 3ks from the beautiful Baylys Beach, west across the Kaipara region, or west of Whangarei in Northland. It is also accessible from the North following the West Coast through Rawene.

The nearest town is Dargaville (10 mins). Dargaville is a bustling rural town with many shops, cafes, cinema, museum, restaurants, library, galleries, walks, gardens etc

There is no public transport from Dargaville to Baylys Beach so it's best to have a vehicle so you can explore the area or hitch hike. There is much to see and do.

I`am developing a wetlands native tree planting project and several other gardens, small building projects, and lots of maintenance around the place. Always things to do!

I am looking for enthusiastic helpers who want to experience this area, have gardening/weeding interest and experience, mowing and weed eater use, some basic building skills or willing to learn, a positive attitude to helpi... more inside

We are living on a lovely, peaceful 5 acre block.Trying to live a sustainable and mostly organic lifestyle.
We Grow our own vegetables in a large garden, which supplies most of what we need.
We have a small number of sheep
We also keep two flocks of chickens, around 30 birds.
There is an orchard with a variety of fruit trees. We also have a small vineyard to make our own wine.
We have our three bedroom house and a separate two
bedroom self contained cottage. Also there is a power supply for a camper van.
We would like help from like minded people to do work in the garden and general help around the rest of the farm.In return for 4 hours work per day, accommodation and meals are supplied.
The cottage is very comfortable , and has two double beds, and a single sofa bed.
We are located 3.5km from state highway one ,and there are shops and beaches reasonably close by.
Mangawhai is a 15 minute drive away
Wifi is available.
The pictures show the cottage accomodation.

House/dog sitter wanted on a beautiful sunny lifestyle block on a semi permanent basis but right now I need someone for the whole month of December.
************************************

I need a mature and responsible person to live in/housesit and love, feed and walk my two dogs.
There is a comfortable well equipped ground floor flat to live in.
All you have to do apart from loving the dogs is keep the house and garden tidy and be a presence while I'm not there. This is a perfect location from which you can visit the fabulous beaches or just enjoy having a reasonably comfortable house to yourself. For the right person there's an old but serviceable car you could have the use of sometimes.
Thereís no reason why you canít carry on a full time job whilst living here.
