We have 4ha. One hectare that was planted into blueberries 1 year ago and 1/4 hectare is planted in house fruit and vege garden.
The remaining land is in the process of being planted out or turned into a native plant nursery.
The property is at 220m and has lovely views over the coastline. It backs onto native forest and a lovely clear river. The activities we require help with currently are fertilizing and mulching the blueberries and some landscaping around the house.
The accomodation we have for helpers is a 7m caravan with its own small kitchen. At this stage shower and bathroom is in the main house. We provide vegan meals, but will ask helpers to also help with cooking meals and doing dishes :)
There is wifi in the caravan.

We have been hosting helpx for over 15 years. We grow and process our own macadamia nuts for local sale. Helpers will be involved in all aspects of our orchard management. Helpers will have their own accommodation close to our house, and we share meals. In return for 4-5 hours work per day we offer great food and coffee, friendly faces, and good wifi. We enjoy preparing food, so if you enjoy cooking you will be extra welcome!
Sorry smokers, we are a smoke-free farm....

We are a young couple with two dogs working on a 200 jersey cow dairy farm just out of Te Puke.
We are looking for someone to help the manager of the farm.
Jobs will include hosing down the yard and helping the calf rearer with the calves as they come in.
We also have kiwifruit and avocado orchards as well as a few vege gardens. Work could include these tasks also. We have a range of jobs so let us know what you are interested in and we can help!
We are very close to the beach - Mount Maunganui and Papamoa and 30 minutes away from Rotorua and the mud pools.
We play soccer so feel free to come play with us!
Must be willing to get stuck in and get a bit dirty!

We have a large older home and grounds in the central city which requires maintenance. My husband and I are the only ones living in our home as our children have all left. Our home is very close to the city, walking distance to supermarkets and downtown. Our accommodation is a two bedroom separate area, with your own private bathroom, entrance and a small kitchenette, no cooking facilities. Work required is gardening, general cleaning, maintenance And would like an experienced painter/home maintenance person if possible. If you like cooking we would enjoy tasting your cuisine.
We enjoy meeting new young people from different countries and cultures.

Hi- we are in the depth of our busiest time of year and would love some help to get through the next month or two! We are a family of 5 with three children 6,4 and 2. If you’d like to learn about Dairy farms here in NZ and feed some of our baby calves and spend some time with our kiddo’s so we can get on with work and help prepare the odd evening meal then please get in contact! We have a sleepout with shower and toilet available for you and your partner and we are in a great location for all the adventure that NZ has to offer.
Sound fun?

Our home is on the slopes of Mount Ngongotaha overlooking Lake Rotorua and the city. We have a big home with beautiful views.
Accommodation provided in a large comfy bedroom with shared amenities in return for help in the house with housework, cooking and mostly outside with gardening in our vege and native gardens and moving firewood. We prefer to have you work 2 hours for accommodation only so you have more of the day for what you want to do.
At the moment we are doing a big tidy up of the gardens and grounds etc and need people who are self motivated, can work on their own, who can see what may need doing and do it. Also if you can include an NZ number it would be easier for us to contact you more quickly.
We have traveled extensively and love to bring the world back into our home with visitors.
Having your own transport would be preferable although there is a bus at the end of the street and we travel in and out of town each week day plus we have 'may need some TLC' bicycl... more inside

Located in the middle of upmarket suburbia this original old farm house is surprisingly still secluded. My home is surrounded by trees and two classic old farm sheds including a 1918 board & batten shearers shed where I operate my dog grooming business. With a large property & old house there is often maintenance to do, both in the garden & on the house. You would work 4hrs a day per nights stay. The guest room is included in the photos. I live with one very sociable designer doodle. There is a bus stop near my gate and shops just 10 minutes walk away. I can pick you up from central by arrangement & depending on my time available.

I will be moving house on the 28th July. Some assistance for preparation before this date would be great.

Current work to do includes:
- Painting
- Cleaning
- helping with moving house
Having travelled extensively in the past, I look forward to meeting travelers & making them feel at home.

Kia ora.

We are looking for a Helper to start asap. We need someone who can take care of housework and gardening. We would prefer someone who already has housekeeping skills.

*********************************************
We would prefer someone who could stay for a couple of weeks, as this is less disruptive for the family :-)

Life in the Eastern Bay of Plenty is pretty laid back. We live in town, directly opposite the Whakatane River and short walk from the harbour. We are moments from Ohope Beach, 1 hour from Rotorua, 1 hour from Tauranga and 30 minutes from Opotiki - the gateway to the East Coast.

We are a family of two adults, three children and 1 dog.

We run two business' from our home. Our main business is selling feathers, which we send all over the world. In the summer time we also operate as trout fishing guides. We hunt and fish a lot and live a lifestyle around gathering as much of our food as we can. A vegetarian would not really fit in with our lifest... more inside
