Vicki & Bryce run a small holding close to Tai Tapu village. Large vegetable garden. (No horses or sheep at the moment) Only Rupert the cat.
Work would include housework, gardening and general maintenance.
Tai Tapu is situated on the Akaroa Highway approximately 12km from Christchurch and 6km from Lincoln. A very picturesque village with a great hotel, historic church and library. Also great resturants and a golf course. We have two bicycles which can be ridden to all these venues.

I have recently moved to this piece of paradise on banks Peninsula 1 1/2 hrs from Christchurch and 1/2 hr from Akaroa. The property has extensive vegetable and herb garden, fruit and nut trees and a HUGE lawn to mow (I have a self propelled mower which makes it easier) carpentry/handyman skills appreciated

The home is the original 1851 homestead. Accommodation is in the house at present with the option to stay in a sleepout which needs a little work done on it first. If you have a campervan there is plenty of room on the beachfront 2 minutes walk from the beach with power included

Hi we have a beautiful garden property of just on two hectares. 200 metres from the Wainui beach and 20 minute drive to Akaroa. Hoping to have helpers come and stay and help with the extensive gardens and house. We normally ask for 3 1/2 days work per week for good food and a lovely cottage accommodation. The photos show the location and helpers accommodation.
One of us normally travels to Akaroa daily for work and we also own the Akaroa adventure centre so have access to kayaks and paddleboards free of charge. Prefer gardening/horticulture experience. We look forward to sharing our small piece of the planet.

Thanks
Darin and Karen

We are currently looking for some help from someone who is cheerful and hardworking, and preferably with a history of practical experience. This would suit someone who would like to immerse themselves into a kiwi family and surrounding themselves with amazing views - a photographers paradise. Living arrangements would be in our recently built home in your own double bedroom. Helpers are welcome to use the tennis court, join Andrew on the motorbike for a lesson in farming - watch the dogs work the sheep, feed the pet lambs (Sept - Nov). You will have access to a remote beach via the farm. Also there is 2hr coastal walk to a seal colony. We live 30mins drive to the popular township of Akaroa. We have traveled extensively and enjoy meeting new people. In the summer we enjoy playing tennis in the weekends and love to go fishing when the sea conditions/time permit. In the warmer months we prefer someone who dosn't mind working outside - someone strong and who doesn't mind work... more inside

This is a little piece of paradise in Purau Bay on Banks Peninsula with a stunning view onto the ocean. Thomas and Nilguen have established an organic vege garden and small orchard and there is always plenty of work around the whole property.Apart from gardening helpers are needed for tree felling, chopping fire wood, building a sleepout, putting up fences, looking after a small group of lovely animals etc. We are close to Christchurch with easy access to the ferry to Lyttelton where the city bus connects right from the wharf. It is about 50 minutes drive by car. We offer a "first class" caravan for accommodation and people are always warmly included into the household. Please ring us or email for more details. See you soon!!

Sheep and cattle family farm in Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula. Varied farm work and some helping out around the house. Farm is about 20 min drive to Akaroa, and 1 hour to Christchurch. Happy to arrange to pick up/drop off to chch. Would like people who have a fun and happy personality, are social after work, and are willing to have a go at just about anything.

I'm 29 years old and I spend much of my time working alone, so it would be great to have some help and company form time to time. In my spare time I like catching up with mates and a bit of social sport. Getting outdoors, taking the jetboat for a spin, also good to relax on a rainy day too. Any questions please get in touch.
