We are looking for people who enjoy being outdoors and want to learn how to build an earth house with simple materials. We're building a house near Daylesford, Victoria. We are 10 minutes drive from Daylesford (natural spa and tourism region of Victoria). It is a friendly little village and we are building on 1 acre, next door to an lovely organic farm and 3 minutes walk from a general store that makes superb lunches/coffee. Rural, but not remote. We live in a neighbouring rental house with a spare room (double bed), plus lots of yard space for a campervan if that is your mode of travel. Right now we would love some help with general building, gardening and cooking. Our build still requires lots of timber carpentry work, plus installing insulation and ceilings. We are a relaxed couple with a cat. Do get in touch!

We're an organic market garden on the banks of the beautiful Goulburn River. We grow a wide variety of heirloom vegetables according to organic standards with a focus on biodiversity and soil health. We care about contributing positively to our community and environment.

Work on the farm includes planting, harvesting, weeding as well as many other potential things which change seasonally.

Accommodation is in a (possibly) shared room in our old, but cosy farm house (shared with part-time workers or other volunteers). Camping with full access to the house is also an option. We live in a truly beautiful spot within a vineyard on the banks of the river. We have a wide variety of wildlife, especially birds, living around the farm. We're at the edge of Seymour and just over an hours drive from Melbourne. Easily accessible by train.

We love food and eat really well. Most meals are vegetarian and sourced from the garden or from trading with other producers at farmers ma... more inside
