Hello travelers

** Sorry we are not taking helpers at this time.

Our main jobs on the property are attending early morning to animals, walk dogs and for the majority of the 4 hours clearing paddocks and digging up weeds, placing in piles to burn off. If you are happy to do this please send us an email!

We are on 40 acres overlooking Moogerah Dam in the Scenic Rim South East QLD. that is situated 1.5 hours from Brisbane and 1.5 hours from Gold Coast with amazing views!

Our hobby farm has many animals including horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, dogs, cats and a dairy rescue cow. Please only send us a message if you are confident with all of the animals and if you are happy to cook and undertake the jobs listed below.

We are a family of four who love to entertain guests overlooking the mountains. Our house consists of four bedrooms, three living areas, two entertaining decks with an outdoor spa.

Alicia and her daughter love to cook and welcome guests also to cook. ... more inside

WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT TAKING WORKERS

If you love wildlife, the outdoors, great views and good food, send us an email (only emails from this site will be responded to). PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR WEB SITE LINKs ABOVE, they include some videos about what we are about. This is very much a cultural exchange (for us and for you) as you will be in our family home sharing our lifestyle.

NO SMOKERS OR VEGETARIANS PLEASE. We prefer our helpers to stay 2 weeks or more. Work outside is a major part of what we do so expect to be outside on a rural property as part of the experience.

The property is located 60km South of Brisbane and 20km West of the Gold Coast on the upper North slope of Mt Tamborine, 320m above sea level. We are surrounded by National Parks and abundant wildlife. The property is 8.35Ha with a sub-tropical climate and has great country views to the North up to 140km on a clear day.

We also have a tennis court (I will always give preference to tennis players who lov... more inside

*****NOT AVAILABLE***** I am full at the moment.

Hi Everyone, I have a rural home close to transport and town. Simple accommodation with good food. It`s a leisurely 20-30 min walk to Nambour, which is the centre of the Sunshine Coast. From there it is just a bus ride to Caloundra, Noosa or Mooloolaba. It is close to the Hinterland as well. Australia Zoo is not far away and there is also the Big Pineapple. There are always things to do, yard work, organising, housekeeping and also taking care of the dog.I do shift work so I am not able to give him the attention he needs, walks etc. He is a large dog, with a big voice, but friendly.YOU MUST BE DOG PEOPLE. You must also be independent and be able to work unsupervised as I am not always home. I have hosted exchange students for many years but now my children have grown up and left home. I have done a share of travelling and thought it would be great to open my home to backpacker/travellers instead. My home is plain, but the hospita... more inside

Hello my dear helpers,

I am Josef and I'm looking for helpers to help me in my everyday life.

I need someone (or 2 people) who can drive my car to the nice Sunshine Coast's beach (as often as the weather allows it). You can see in the pictures how hard this work is , carrying me (Or I carry you when you are tired:-)).
But also to other places like shops, friends' house and nice tourists places in the Glass House Mountains.(including Mt Ngungun only 2.5km from my house)

I also need a bit help to take care of my organic vegetables garden (that has a lot of cherry tomatoes!) and fruit trees (e.g. mango trees with a lot of delicious mangoes only for us) and feed the happy chickens.

Then, I need help to cut and prepare the veggies for lunch and dinner. I will cook good and healthy vegetarian food for you

My house is located in the Glass House Mountains, close to the Australian Zoo (very famous!) and 60km north of Brisbane.

You will have your own bedroom in the house, ... more inside
